For the second night in a row, shortstop Ronny Cedeno is a late scratch from the Pirates’ starting lineup. Cedeno (broken pinky finger) took infield and batting practice and initially told manager John Russell he was good to go, but apparently changed his mind a few minutes ago. Luis Cruz will start at short tonight against the Phillies.
