AM practice before first “real” game at Consol.

Wednesday night was one of my weirder ones on this beat, dear readers. The roster situation involvoing LW ERIC TANGRADI and G PATRICK KILLEEN was bizarre to say the least — the very least. This is what went down yesterday: http://www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/sports/s_703129.html, but Tangradi is at practice — he’s been recalled — and skating on a line with C MIKE COMRIE and RW EVGENI MALKIN.

= Gs MARC-ANDRE FLEURY and BRENT JOHNSON practiced today. G PATRICK KILLEEN, recalled from Wheeling on Wednesday, was on the ice before the session, but did not participate in drills.

= D KRIS LETANG was not on the ice for practice. He did practice Wednesday. If out, the Penguins could playe two relaitvely inexperienced defensemen in BEN LOVEJOY and DERYK ENGELLAND.

= RW ARRON ASHAM did not skate. He has not practiced since his was injured Friday night at Chicago. RW TYLER KENNEDY took shift-skates on a line with LW MATT COOKE and C MARK LETESTU.
