Pitt had a light practice Monday after the victory at West Virginia one day earlier. The Panthers depart Tuesday for No. 21 Villanova (15-4, 3-3). The 7 p.m. game Wednesday will be the final collegiate basketball game at the Spectrum (see the Web site Tuesday for a story on the historic game).
Senior forward Tyrell Biggs, who left the first half of the West Virginia game with a leg injury and returned, was X-rayed on Sunday night. He is fine, coach Jamie Dixon said.
“It was a light day for us,” Dixon said. “We got some shooting done and went through some of (Villanova’s) stuff on the floor. Then we watched some film. It was a productive day.”
