    Pitt Big East schedule released

    The Pitt men’s basketball team will play three rivals – Connecticut, Louisville and Georgetown – in an eight-day span in mid-January to highlight its 2009-10 Big East Conference schedule, released Thursday. The 18-game Big East schedule opens with DePaul on Dec. 28 at Petersen Events Center, followed by three road games. It is the first time in two decades the Panthers will play three of their first four Big East games away from home.
