Pitt senior guard Jermaine Dixon, who has missed all seven games this year, is taking part in pre-game shoot-arounds for the first time, as the Panthers ready to play in tonight’s game against New Hampshire (2-2).
There has been no word whether he is medically cleared to play tonight, but taking part in lay-up lines is a step forward for the team’s only returning starter.
Dixon has been sidelined since mid-September, when he sustained a broken foot for the second time in four months.
Dixon said Monday that he has been moving without pain, while cutting and running all-out on the foot.
“I’m getting antsy,” he said at the time.
