The Pitt football team picked up its fifth four-star recruit from the Class of 2011 when East Stroudsburg (Pa.) cornerback Kyshoen Jarrett committed to the Panthers on Wednesday afternoon.
Jarrett, a 5-foot-11, 182-pounder, is ranked as the nation’s No. 13 cornerback by Rivals.com. Jarrett had received more than a dozen scholarship offers, including Pitt, Penn State, Illinois, Virginia Tech, Stanford, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Connecticut, Virginia and Wisconsin. He is Pitt’s fourth football recruit in the past nine days and the 15th recruit from the Class of 2011.
