Pitt senior Gilbert Brown’s team, Cherry, Bekaert and Holland, will play K&D Rounds Landscaping in the championship game of the Portsmouth (Va.) Invitational Tournament at 8 p.m. tonight. Brown scored six points on 3 of 10 shooting in a 97-72 victory over Portsmouth Sports Club in the semifinals. Rick Jackson of Syracuse and Jimmy Butler of Marquette are two of the top players for K&D. Also in the 59th annual event, Pitt’s Brad Wanamaker had eight points on 1 of 9 shooting with six rebounds, three assists and no turnovers in 29 minutes in a 95-58 victory over Gary McGhee’s team, Mike Duman, in the seventh-place game. McGhee finished with eight points and nine rebounds.
