  10. DannyMoe says:

Ouch. Cedeno hitting 6. Least offensive lineup of the year. Need to add a bat…or not.

  11. GoGoGolem says:

Good job Biz… I like it.

  12. JAL says:

Cedeno has been hitting well. 9 for his last 18 at bats

  13. Bizrow says:

Its so good to see you here GGG

  14. GoGoGolem says:

Always a pleasure to see you Biz.

Now THAT was an inning. The old Pirates… that would have been “The Big Inning”.

  15. JMB says:

    There goes the neighborhood!

  16. Dejan Kovacevic says:

Missed first two innings while typing column. How did Charlie look? Any better? Any different?

  17. pattonbb says:

    Glad they didn’t go home.

  18. GoGoGolem says:

DK – I still think Charlie is trying to paint the outside corner on lefties… isn’t working.

  19. pattonbb says:

DK, He didn’t look bad. Gave up a couple hits in the 1st, but a double play then a ground out got him out of it. d’Arnaud made a nice play in the second. 32 pitches through 2. I think we’ll know more in a few minutes.

  20. JMB says:

    1! stinkin’ run!?!???

  21. JAL says:

Just walked Gorzo, who I could probably strike out

  22. GoGoGolem says:

JMB – yeah… killing me… gotta score at least two in an inning like that.

  23. Dejan Kovacevic says:

@GGG, Patton: Charlies looks like he’s in charge now. Great-looking curve.

  24. GoGoGolem says:

DK – he’s settling in better than me… 1 run lead has me mighty nervous.

  25. JMB says:

Don’t the Pirate hitters know Chazz is pitching and not Maholm?

They can score a few runs!

  26. JMB says:

I’m tired of these fill-ins — except Presley, of course.

Give me some PRNW, some El Toro, and some Dewey Dingers!

  27. matmoksik says:

Alvarez has hit a home run in Bradenton this evening.

  28. pattonbb says:

    well dang…..

  29. JAL says:

I am sure CH feels the same.

  30. JMB says:

Hurdle said Morton was NOT on pitch count, but he’s out after 88 pitches. Maybe it’s cuz LHB went 3×7 w/2 walks v. him tonite and Nix at bat

  31. Dejan Kovacevic says:

Wow! Breathtaking inning by Resop there. One of best innings I’ve seen anyone pitch all summer.

  32. JMB says:

Smacking of that poor ump in his nether regions def took his breath away!

  33. pattonbb says:

time for another double play…… please.
