  1. DavedigsDKsblog says:

    Reality check.

  2. DannyMoe says:

Beginning to think that we’d be better served with Bowker on the bench than Paul.

  3. Playoffs by 2012 says:

    Lyle Overbay — $5 million
    Matt Diaz — $2.12 million
    TOTAL — $7.12 million

    Lance Berkman — $8 million

    Who made the better deal?

  4. LikeaBugonaRug says:

In somewhat better news….. Pedro is 2 – 3 tonight with a 2 run homer and 3 rbi’s. I think if he keeps the right attitude and continues to play and doesn’t sulk, he will be here sooner rather than later. I wonder if the FO wanted to make sure Pedro got the message that he had to completely earn his way back and not go through the motions.

  5. Bizrow says:

    Crap, crap, crap

    The season spins on Morton

    Beat Em Bucs

  6. pattonbb says:

I’ve been of the opinion that Pedro at Indy was a very good thing. But if he’s the only big bat the FO is looking to bring to Pittsburgh, he needs to come up sooner than later. It’s time.

Granted, Bringing Pedro up doesn’t address this sudden inability of our pitching staff to keep the ball in the yard.

  7. LikeaBugonaRug says:

And all is not lost yet folks. The last time this team had a 3 or more game losing streak was last month. The 3 to Cleveland followed by the first game in the Orioles series. It was bound to happen sooner or later. I wonder if the positive national attention got to them a little bit since they weren’t used to it? Not to mention that they are losing last night and tonight to a good team. At least they’re not doing this against a team like the Cubs or Astros. Hopefully Alex won’t be out long.

  8. Dejan Kovacevic says:

Sorry for the game thread issue. I had it set up before I boarded my flight, but I published it Drafts rather than Public. Thanks to Patton for emailing me.

  9. Playoffs by 2012 says:

    5 games and counting without a HOMERUN…………
