  1. JAL says:

Hope this lineup can more than 2 hits

  2. Steve Smith says:

    And less than 10 Ks!

  3. JMB says:

I see on twitter that PA will NOT go to winter ball.

DK, is this a powerplay to get out of Pittsburgh? Antagonize the BMTiB(iNAoS) until they trade him?

  4. JMB says:

C Chris Snyder says he would like to return to #pirates in 2012 under terms of contract option

I’d like to date a dime piece too. No way should the FO give Snyder that kind of $ to spend half of the year on the DL. The only deal should be MLB min (base don service time) and a boatload of incentives.

  5. Milo Hamilton says:

    Two catchers that combine for 303 AB’s & 45 RBI = $11,450,000.

    A former 1st round draft pick hitting .189 with 3 homers/15 RBI & 74 k’s in 217 AB’s = $6,000000.

Said 1st rounder TELLING management he won’t play winter ball = priceless.

    DK: So is this comment.

  6. TDB1977 says:

Dear Pedro…Where was this play all year? Where was the home run power? Did you forget that the season started in, lets say March and not in September? I know you have made a few plays this year at third, but you really let the Pirates fan base down this year. Please get yourself in playing shape this off-season and get your head fully in the game come next spring, and the 2011 season will be a thing of the pass. Sincerely, Me.

  7. Eric Bowser says:

I have low expectations for Pedro Alvarez from here on out. He has done nothing this year (Majors or AAA) to prove he’s a legitimate franchise power hitter. For me to jump back on his bandwagon, he’s gonna have to show me, which means, I need to see it on his baseball card.
