  1. The parade of catchers continues.

  2. Re – catchers

We’re gonna do it, till we do it right…..

  3. The Pirates just realized that Matt Pagnozzi is not Tom Pagnozzi. Frank Coonelly is preparing a statement.

  4. Maybe Ross Ohlendorf would agree to go to winter ball. And never come back.

  5. 3rd game out 5 that Pirates were down 3-0 after 1 inning. Also, D-Backs set franchise record for stolen bases in an inning with 4.

  6. WOW!!

I really like Ross Ohlendorf, with what he represents as a person. He is not just a “JOCK.”
I’m sorry he will not be with the Pirates in 2012.

  7. Goodbye, Ross Ohlendorf.

  8. Is there really any question as to whether or not Ross will be tendered?

Maybe resigned to a minor league contract.

  9. Might as well shut Joel down for the season as well. Let him get 40, if the opportunity arises, but, see who else could come in late in the game and do something…I think he’s proved himself this season.

  10. File this one under “Panic on General Robinson” :

Jayson Stark is reporting in the ongoing CBA negotiations, both sides have discussed a reverse luxury tax. It would penalize teams financially that spend well under the average payroll.

Oh, to be a fly on the wall.

  11. Dejan, you were right——I was wrong.

This is NOT the Derrek Lee who played for the Orioles earlier in the year, the Derrek Lee I thought was done.

I give in: Sign him up as a Bucco for next year . . . . RIGHT NOW!!

  12. Agree with Groat. Sign Derrek Lee.

    The man has been amazing.

  13. Agreed!

  14. Making a good comback, its a shame Ross gave up 7 freakin’ runs. Usually can’t complain about 5 runs, especially for the Buccos.

  15. That’s 18-43 in the last 61 games.
