  1. JoeBucco says:

I’ll be the guy on TV much of the night in the yellow Lets Go Bucs shirt, right behind the Buccos batting circle, third row.

Let’s Go Buccos! Avoid 90 L’s. And ruin home field for the Brew.

  2. Bizrow says:

    @Joe

Gawd love you, I’ll be looking for you

    Bring another one home

  3. Bizrow says:

Anyone want to sign up to Dejan’s Lunatics on the Trib?

When you post, just state where you are currently living.

    Haven’t added a lunatic in a while

  4. JoeBucco says:

    Haha, I know. Crazy, huh? Here I am… http://twitpic.com/6rl689

  5. harry says:

    @JoeBucco
What! You can’t get Iron City in Milwaukee. :-)

    Let’s Go Bucs

  6. hsages211 says:

I see you @JoeBucco…..it’d be nice to find a way to keep Ryan Braun from winning a batting title, keep the Brewers from getting home field advantage, and maybe build a little self doubt in the psyche of the Brew Crew. Is that too much to ask or am I getting a little ahead of myself after 1 win in Milwaukee? Let’s Go Bucs!

  7. I checked “War and Peace” out of the library to read during Ross Ohlendorf’s start tonight.

Unfortunately, I completed it during last night’s game.

Looks like I should have made another trip to the library today. Sweat ‘em up, Ross!

  8. Milo Hamilton says:

    @Groat

Maybe, if we’re lucky, this will be Ross’ final chapter.

  9. Steve Smith says:

Anybody think of throwing the good old Efus (sp?) pitch to Fielder? I’m guessing as fast as his swing is he may look like the due from the Bugs Bunny cartoon where he swings three times and misses before it is in the catcher’s mitt. He did swing at a ball above his head, so it wasn’e exactly Ross’ fault except that it could have been faster. If it was, Fielder swings through it, and not hit it to Chicago.

  10. Steve Smith says:

Now stranding the runner on second with no outs looks huge since Ross is pitching batting practice with two outs, and now we are losing. Thanks Ross @#$%#^!!

  11. Milo Hamilton says:

They need to remove Ohlendorf immediately for the safety of the fans in the outfield.

  12. Luckily, distance still only counts ’1′.
However, distance does score more against the psyche. WOW!

Steve Smith: good call on Bucs not moving runners over from 2nd with no outs. Since we can’t bomb, we must play “smart” baseball. So far, we have flunked twice.

At least Ross bring our Grade Point Average up.

  13. Ross moves the Buccos Cumulative Grade Point up to Honor Roll status with swing into wheel play. Well done, Master Ohlendorf. Beautiful!

  14. Steve Smith says:

Note to Ross – DON’T PITCH TO FIELDER AND STOP WALKING PEOPLE!!!

  15. This game feels like well coached Pony League team versus Hagar the Horrible.

Let me repeat: “DON’T WALK PEOPLE!!!”

  16. Steve Smith says:

Let’s see if this works – Dare I say three times they will not get s runner home from second with no out.

  17. Steve Smith says:

It worked, but only with Wolf’s help!

  18. Steve Smith says:

Didn’t they learn anything from last night and even earlier tonight about walking people.

  19. Steve Smith says:

    REPEAT WHAT I SAID EARLIER – @$#%^^@&!!

  20. NO WALKS!!!

Pony League team versus Hagar the Horrible.

  21. Steve Smith says:

No homeruns given up and the Pirates are likely winning this game. Two of the walks scored from the two Fielder blasts.

  22. Tabata catches that ball!

    Tabata catches that ball?

  23. Steve Smith says:

Horrible game as usual by the pitching staff late in the season. Going to bed now since this is over. Two at bats to go for the Bucs, but I will be surprised if they are able to tie it again. Toooo many missed opportunities. It sucks when you are actually 3 for 8 with runners in scoring position and the other team is 0 for 4 and you lose. It also doesn’t hep when you give up four batting practice homeruns and don’t get any yourself.

  24. Come on, Steve: don’t sugar coat it.

  25. Milo Hamilton says:

The most devastating loss for the Pirates this year was not having the Evan Meek of 2010. I don’t even recognize this guy. A lot of mph’s missing.

  26. JoeBucco says:

In hindsight, maybe we shoulda pitcher around Prince tonight. :)

  27. JoeBucco says:

pitched around, not pitcher, but whatever…
