Comments

  1. Eric Bowser says:

    Pens 1 Caps 1

Asham feed to Adams for 1st period goal, then a shift later Asham goes toe-to-toe with John Erskine in some kind of fight of retribution for the smackdown of Jay Beagle. Lame.

Early in 2nd period, Caps tied game on a goal scored by Jason Chimera…breakdown by Pens.

NHL debut for Simon Despres, he’s been ok on a few shifts and shaky at times. Can’t really say much for a young defenseman making his debut against the Caps. Interesting situation to be in.

Shots 26-15 advantage for Penguins but Pens PP just isn’t doing much with their chances.

  2. Dejan Kovacevic says:

Man, the Caps stink. What a waste of a lot of individual talent.

  3. Milo Hamilton says:

The Caps are 5-11-1 in their last 17 games.

  4. CWalton_67 says:

DK–talent is nothing without the desire for greatness. With few exceptions, all the “talented” Caps simply have no intestinal fortitude.

  5. pghboyinca says:

Ovechkin runs around charging peopel all over the ice with no calls, the NHL needs to have some consistency on calls. Hope Latang is back soon.

  6. Jandy says:

Eric, I felt that Depres was rather solid in his NHL debut. He landed some hits, had an assist, and didn’t really make any noticeable mistakes.
