Something to worry about. These guys love to run the ball. And this year, you can have success on the ground against the Steelers. That could set the Niners up for their field goal based offense.

I can’t help but think that somehow, someway, Kim Jong Il is involved here.
On consecutive nights, in nearly 6 quarters of football, the Steelers & Ravers have yet to force the opposition to punt. Not even once.

Ben could have done better with the clock at the end of the half. Might have cost the Steelers three points.

Mike Pereira says via twitter that was not a penalty on the punt play. “SF #30 initiated the contact & that should take the foul off. Not a good call in my mind.”

It is complete insanity for Ben Roethlisberger to still be in this game.

Ben nowhere near 100 percent, but Niners are a good team.
An injured Ben, combined with a careless-with-the-football Ben, is a losing combination. Doesn’t help that almost every call went against us, but can’t blame the officials really.
That one on Redman may have been the worst call of the night. Pereira – “That is not a chop block you want called. Not a good night.”
There have been 2 “must” games against quality teams this season – the 2nd Baltimore game & San Francisco. Just needed to win one. Lost them both. Tebow time – January 7th.
Milo:
I’ll take Tebow in the first round, although you never know what’s going to happen in the last two weeks. AFC West is completely up for grabs, as Denver is anything but a sure thing. The Steelers could win out and the Ravens could lose to a desperate Bengals team – giving the Steelers the division title.. Houston has the easiest schedule, but also a rookie/young QB.
We’ll see, but any way you look at it, a disappointing loss tonight. Ben did his best Tino Sunseri impression.
