  1. PetroSteel says:

Hammond Stadium…Very nice Park. Wish I was there.

Anymore info on the Bucs looking for pitching?

Your thoughts on Pedro? Does he look any different mentally this year? What about with he bat? Your prediction on his year? He is the key.

    Go Bucs!

  2. radio wave says:

    Killing Doyle.
DK, I’ll be interested in your opinion of Navarro.

DK: Too soon. Good contact so far. One-handed single today.

  3. Jandy says:

10-0 top of the first….jeez! is that right???

  4. Ryan (Nor-Cal Stlrfanrc) says:

does any website cover the live game action?

  5. Milo Hamilton says:

Try this page. Every game is listed & updates automatically.

  6. radio wave says:

A double steal and four runs, reyes can’t live with the prosperity

  7. Milo Hamilton says:

Could someone please call JoJo Reyes a cab. To the nearest airport.

  8. LuckyNKentucky says:

Maybe he and Terry Doyle can share one.

  9. JAL says:

    Hague takes one out

  10. LuckyNKentucky says:

Dumatrait may want to hitch a ride in that cab, too. D-Mac brought some order to it, but Phil’s pitching his way out of Minneapolis-St.Paul, too.

  11. Curt says:

Can someone tell me what would stop Matt Hague from staying with the club.
He is continuing his strong spring.

Maybe we need to start a Hague2012 campaign. Lol.

  12. LuckyNKentucky says:

    Free Matt Hague!

  13. Ryan (Nor-Cal Stlrfanrc) says:

His playing time will send him to AAA.

  14. twentytwo22 says:

Casey Fossum too. I remembered him when he was mentioned yesterday. He only pitched for them in spring training 2008. Hopefully Jo-Jo Reyes walks the dog soon.

Juan Cruz on the other hand was a good signing. He is a righty who is tough on lefties.

  15. Milo Hamilton says:

    The Hague !

  16. twentytwo22 says:

Matt Hague gets the reverse Jeff Clement treatment.

  17. JAL says:

Ho-hum–another inning by Cruz, another 3 outs.

  18. LuckyNKentucky says:

We can stand as many of those ho-hums as he can ring up, JAL.

  19. Ryan (Nor-Cal Stlrfanrc) says:

    @Milo- got nothing…….

  20. JAL says:

    Jones with 2 run shot–14-4

  21. LuckyNKentucky says:

Definitely hold that cab for Dumatrait. Jones just took him out, too.

  22. JohninOshkosh says:

I remember Cruz was once very highly regarded by the Cubs. Maybe this will prove to be a stellar off season pick up.

  23. JAL says:

Pirates have 6 doubles and 3 HR through 5 innings

  24. JohninOshkosh says:

Lets hope they don’t need one of those huge van style cabs hotels have to shuttle people to the airport!

  25. BAL says:

I think Hague & Harrison should make the team. Both have hit well in the minors, and are hitting well in ST.

  26. twentytwo22 says:

Just noticed that Josh Harrison was playing SS. If he shows he can play there he is the utility infielder and that opens another spot on the roster.

  27. Ryan (Nor-Cal Stlrfanrc) says:

Harrison will probably make the team because of his versatility. Hague, maybe called up later, I doubt they’d keep him right out of ST.

  28. Milo Hamilton says:

Just go to & on the upper left click on scoreboard.

  29. Ryan (Nor-Cal Stlrfanrc) says:

yea, takes me to the final world series game.

  30. Ryan (Nor-Cal Stlrfanrc) says:

    fixed……..stupid internet

  31. Ryan (Nor-Cal Stlrfanrc) says:

Send Leroux on that bus too.

  32. LuckyNKentucky says:

Leroux is out of options. They’ll have to trade him or lose him (or find some mysterious injury for him).

  33. Kevin says:

Score update please? I don’t have access to any outside websites for the score – just the Trib scoreboard and its about a half-day behind in updating!

DK: Would you believe 17-6 for the visitors, middle eighth?

  34. Ryan (Nor-Cal Stlrfanrc) says:

fine by me….never been a fan.

  35. JAL says:

Pirates have 17 runs on 19 hits

  36. Kevin says:

Wow…!! Thanks for the update DK/JAL – it really is a bummer to be in the middle of PA with no access to the games -

  37. JAL says:

Remains 17-6 going to the 9th.

UNC Ashville leads Syracuse 34-30 at the half. Still a long way to go.

  38. Ryan (Nor-Cal Stlrfanrc) says:

Kevin- You probably could’ve stopped at “middle of Pa”

  39. JAL says:

    Bottom of 9th Slaten pitching.

  40. JAL says:

    Pirates 17 Twins 6

  41. Kevin says:

LOL Ryan – you are correct, sir!!

  42. Ryan (Nor-Cal Stlrfanrc) says:

    game over…awesome.

  43. clark says:

did u do a chat today? i can never find them when they are done

  44. LuckyNKentucky says:

He was too busy hob-knobbing with the boys of summer. (Was going to do it from the clubhouse but it didn’t turn out).

  45. Kevin says:

Chat was moved to Monday – scheduling conflict (a.k.a. hob-knobbing)

  46. Dejan, you are the bucco’s hitting mojo. If this keeps up they will have to sign you to sit on the bench! enjoy the ride!

  47. Hey Dejan,
The paper across the river has an article today, saying basically ‘don’t worry about Evan Meek.’ I know you don’t read other’s stuff, so I’m not asking you to comment.

Yet I do want to know about Meek. It seems to me he SHOULD worry. I do not see him making this staff out of Spring Training. His velocity seems down and he is giving up a lot of base runners.

Could you either on blog or in an article give us an update about Meek. With Grilli, D. McCutcheon, Chris Resop, Cruz, Tony Watson, &/or maybe another lefty [Wilson?] backing up Hanrahan, I don’t see room for a less than dominant Evan Meek! From your eyes to our ears . . . . . .
