Is this the hockey thread?
No, it is the USF-Pitt thread
+1
You da MAN
::THWAP::
It may have been better if they played hockey today.
-Kevin Correia starting for Minnesota gives up 2 in the 1st against the Phils.
-Brad Lincoln starting for Toronto allows 4 in the 1st to the Astros & gets lifted after only recording 2 outs.
How did Casey do in Japan?
I don’t know but his team has outstanding clubhouse chemistry.
+ 1000000000000000000
Nominate for post du jour
I second that emotion
The Casey Mgehee ju-ju overcomes language barriers. Spans oceans. Unites cultures.
Rays score 4 off Burnett in the 2nd thanks to 3 Pirates errors, a misplayed grounder & a wild pitch.
Deja vu all over agin.
We should have kept Corriea or Lincoln
Freddy Sanchez is still available.
Nah, can all the outfielders, and replace them with guys from AAA
What do you call Tabata, Sands, Snider, and Marte?
Good point! lol
I wonder what Tom Singer thinks.
Tomorow’s blog will emplore Huntington to finally hold the responsible party accountable by firing the groundskeeper.
he does?
Groundskeeper?
That’s the job Huntingtin should have……
Luke Scott hits an RBI double off Wandy Rodriguez then promptly asks him to produce his birth certificate.
Now that is funny.
Grilli must not have “made anybody look bad” today. But that’s what ST is for.
Don’t show ‘em anything. Get your work in. And on and on and on.
Looks like he had a better 8th. Probably the only time he’ll throw 2 innings all season.

I listened to the Rays broadcast of last week’s Pirates game in Port Charlotte.
The Rays announcers were complaining – COMPLAINING – that their games at McKechnie this spring are not being broadcast so they would not have the opportunity to to visit “lovely McKechnie Field” this year.
One of the Rays announcers said he was going to use a Rays off day to catch a Pirate game in Bradenton.
There. At least we beat their ballpark.
Don’t tell anyone or Neal will want to trade it.
True.
I used to live in Port Charlotte, but back when the Rangers were there. I always thought, then at least, it was a very nice park.
I also played HS games on the Orioles, Reds, and Phillies complexs in the area and they weren’t as nice.
So, how did we score our 2 runs? Kool-Aid Man!
This team is terrible!!! trade them all, fire them all.
Oh wait, its only a ST game? eh, I’ll save all that for the first month of the season. That always works well.
I liked Brad Hawpe’ candor in the video. “Got a little more age in my legs. Got a little more age in my mind, too, so hopefully it will play to my advantage.”
Was Rusty Staub the last guy who could say that his old mind outplayed his old legs? And, honestly, I’m thinking the last guy who used smarts over body was Bobby Jones with the NBA ’76ers. Been awhile. I think the world is ready for Brad Hawpe!
Where’s the Pitt USF thread. Less than 2 hours to tip.
You have to go to DK’s blogs and go back to Feb 24. It’s been up for days. That’s what Drew’s been squawking about.
I think Drew may be the Aflac Duck.

That duck is too mellow to be me
