SOMEbody forgot to set their clock ahead
Cole’s given up 2 runs-he sucks
McLouth has an error-he sucks
Martin is catching-yeah!
Sorry, trying to get into mid-season form.
Mid season form?
Ok.
Then I wonder who they’re gonna trade
Everyone not nailed down.
Well, a W. That’s something different.
No thread for the other game? We’re winning that one, too.
A double header sweep and everyone is sleeping off Sunday dinner.
And J. Sanchez only gave up 2 runs in 2 innings, 2 hits, 1 walk, 1 HR.
A momentous day and now it’s hockey time already.
In the WBC game – Taillon is pitching for Canada against Team USA. If Taillon wins this game, I would not be surprised to see the calls for him to start the season with the big league club.
Nah, nobody’s been pushing that.
Is that a challenge?
Nope. I suspect the notion was an indirect swipe at people who think IF Cole is one of the best 25 he should go north with the team.
I know. Was just kidding. I had come down on that IF side and was jesting about doing the same for Taillon. Not absolutely married to a position on either of those guys though.
Calls by who?
It was a great start and an encouraging sign, but no need to push a 21 year old with a year and a half of minor league ball under his belt into the show. Even ignoring the service time issue, I’d want to see him face AAA for at least half a season first. We’re talking about a guy with 3 AA starts total.
June 2014 still seems like the earliest, to me.
Am I the only person who is directed to Duquesne’s site instead off Pirates?
