Sounds like Bylsma said that if Cooke doesn’t play, the Pens will dress 7 defensemen. I wonder who get’s moved from the 4th to the 3rd line? None of them really deserve to be moved up. Also wonder if Bylsma will try any defensemen on the wing if he has to dress 7.
The one mentioned, which might be interesting, is Engelland…4th line spot duty and “available”.
I would love to see Engelland play up on the fourth line, but who do you move from the 4th line to the 3rd line. I guess it would have to be Adams, but I’m not sure.
Why not put Despres on a wing; he can at least put the puck on net
I knew they would regret giving up on Zack Boychuk! Fire Ray Shero.
Engelland has put his shot from the point on net as much as anybody.
Also, by double shifting Sid and Sutter, you could pick your spots for him.
I would move Glass. He may never score again, but I believe leads the team in hits.

So the NFL has banned peel back blocks any where on the field now. Not saying its a bad thing; but now they are attempting to keep the runner from using the crown of his helmet when engaging a defender. Jeff Fisher stated they wanted to “bring the shoulder back into the game”.
Any chance they can have a penalty for too many penalties?
All these judgement call penalties are getting silly. If they are going to tack on 15 yards for all these they should be able to be challenged. Thats one rule I’d like to see added. Any penalty over 15 yards should be able to be challenged. They have just as much of an impact on a game as the plays they allow to be challenged now.

There’s a reason that lazy puke Ovechkin can be on for almost the entire 4 minute PP. He doesn’t work. floats around above the left dot freelancing in a 15′ by 15′ box and is generally a bad player by the definition of it. Sorry but he’s a joke. I can’t stomach him.

Ovechkin is so fake I don’t even think his sweat is real. At his leisurely pace he could probably play an entire game without coming off the ice.
When Ted Leonsis is sick of watching his star, he’ll hire a GM and coach that won’t put up with his franchise star loafing all over the ice.
My prediction is in 2 years Ovie is dazzling the fans in Russia full time. I originally gave him 7 years before he fell off the face of the earth and he continues to make me look good.

The KHL will give him close to what he’s making now if not the same. He’ll leave once he’s considered an overpaid joke in the NHL, which most think he is already.
He is what he is, nothing’s changing him. He’ll give up before he changes his game or attitude. Outside of his bullish strength and his one trick pony shot from the left dot and curl and drag (yawn) skill, he’s nothing. Makes Stamkos look like Gretzky.
Not only that, but once he has an injury significant enough to neuter what little he does bring to the game, he’ll be even more unspecial and like Bure, will ultimately become an obscure answer to some future trivia question.
