  1. Thunder. Whatcha gonna do with your Brad Hawpe jersey?

  2. I hate Jeff Karstens….. for proving Huntington right. He’s a mess from a health perspective.

    • Karatens proves DK wrong. Doesn’t that count for something?

      • Prepare for deeper problems than the shelving of Jeff Karstens.
If Huntington did his job correctly, this would be a mere dirt mound on a crowded boulevard.

  3. 24/7 has a nice piece on Jay Bell. There were also some good Rob King ST reports on Root yesterday. In the episode on the rotation, he didn’t mention Sanchez or Gomez in the running. Forget Gomez, but I don’t know if it was a little dated, or if he knows something. I think Sanchez has made the team with his last couple of outings, but maybe not the rotation. I guess we’ll know very soon.

    • I was a bit surprised how ‘reserved’ the GM was about Sanchez’s recent outings. Not super excited but said he was improving

  4. Listening to the GM show on 93.7FM …..he’s talking about the alternatives for the #4 and # 5 starter spot.
    “……Kyle M, Jeff L, Jonathan Sanchez and…… /// shriek /// Jeanmar Gomez” :-( !!!
(Chris LeRoux not stretched out enough)

  5. (sorry guys)

Tampa Bay Lightning has fired head coach Guy Boucher

  6. The interesting thing NH said that that is the reason you keep guys like J. Gomez around longer in camp —because of injuries. ( and Karatens hasn’t appeared in a regular game yet). Gomez has some major league experience.

He also said that they told Hawpe that it would be an extreme long shot for him to make the team and they would not send him to AAA. They told him that before they signed him.

  7. I have a ticket to this game. Not using it.

High winds, gray skies and 50% chance of thundercracks.
    (Insert Pittsburgh crack HERE: [X])

  8. Too windy today to go to the game.
    How precious.

Stay home and watch more of what’s on Oxygen

  9. Fun start. Bucs give up 4 runs in first. Still 1 out. Ninth batter up for O’s. Russell Martin gets tossed from the game for barking at the ump.

  10. Grand slam for O’s. 8 runs in off of Leroux, top 1st, one out.

  11. How precious.

    Too bad I missed it.

  12. 52-51 Ohio State with 11 minutes remaining.

Those are 11 TV minutes during which Lucky wont breathe.

  13. That’s a TD & 2 pt conversion by Balto followed by a safety, all in the first quarter, right? Leroux’s line in the box score is epochal.

  14. Guess the WBC isn’t a good indicator of whether someone is ready or not.

  15. TV sight: Frank Coonelly sitting in the first row, behind Hurdle.

  16. ONE point lead

  17. (Lucky? Lucky? Lucky?)

  18. Not kidding…
Radio just interrupted by a national weather service warning re a tornado warning.

What is Iowa State’s team name?

  19. Bucs chipping away at the lead. 9-4 Baltimore after 3 innings.

  20. The officiating in this OSU – ISU game is just horrible

  21. Wow. Amazing play to almost end the game

Bucks score a three to break a tie with two tenths of a second left

  22. By the way, Pedro Alvarez stinks to high Heaven.

  23. Who is this Tabata guy? Lots of hustle today.

  24. “Tornado Warning for Brevard County, FL
Issued by The National Weather Service
    Melbourne, FL”

    Guess where I just arrived

  25. Did Martin get hurt in the game today? And why are they still throwing Zagurski?

  26. Cutch & Alvarez are different.

  27. The new 1B coach reminds me a little of Perry Hill minus the belly, with the goatee and all.

    (That’s for Mr. Magnificent)

  28. Every ball that I have seen Gabby Sanchez put in play this spring has been hit hard.
    Very hard.

  29. Jeff Karstens signed to a 10 year extension

  30. Lots of pitching going on in Bradenton today. 10-10 after six. Gues nobody is fooling anyone.

  31. I still don’t miss Steve Pearce.

  32. David Bromberg now pitching for the Bucs. I thought he was a singer/songwriter/musician.
Maybe he’ll make JAL’s theme for the week.

  33. Temple 35 – Indiana 34

  34. Everytime a ref calls traveling I think…

    1. Correct call but…
    2. Why just that one?

  35. I love when Bob Walk and Greg Brown bicker during the broadcast.

Sometimes it reminds me of me & Drew.

  36. Kyle Stark should be a name from the past.
He has less business being in his position than a T-Ball administrator that prints out tickets for kids to score free snow cones after the game.
He’s a dangerous human being on top of it…..
