  3. I want to see a winning handshake line at CEC…..

  4. Hope the Pens continue where they left off in periods 2-3 of game 4.

Don’t let Ottawa back in this. Get some rest for Boston.

Time to close one out at home.

    LET’S GO PENS!!!!

  5. Looking for the Sens to come out hot and smokin, lot of desperation. If the Pens can hold em off and keep it close into the second I am thinking they will fold up and the Pens bury them thereafter.
Need to get this one over and move on.

    GO PENS!!

    • I think Paul MacLean is making a mistake putting Spezza, Michalek, and Alfredsson on the same line. It puts all their eggs into one basket and easier for Pens to put a checking line and top defense pairing against them.

  6. Pens lineup

    Forwards
    Kunitz-Crosby-Dupuis = 18 goals
    Iginla-Malkin-Neal = 10 goals
    Cooke-Sutter-Kennedy = 3 goals
    Morrow-Jokinen-Adams = 2 goals

    Defense
    Orpik – Martin
    Eaton – Letang
    Murray – Niskanen

    Goalies
    Vokoun
    Fleury

  7. No Hippo analysis for the pregame.

I just want a W. Then plenty of rest.

    GO PENS !!!!!!!!

  8. Let’s Go Pens!!!! Close it out tonight boys!

  9. MORROW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    :)

  10. 1-0 good guys!

  11. Cookie’s on fire.

  12. Awful penalty call there.
    Awful.

  13. Some might disagree but I am not a fan of that call on Crosby.

  14. After one period………….

    We are up 1-0.
2 periods closer to that handshake line.

This has been the “Cliff’s Notes” version of the 1st period tonight, lol. :)

  15. Man, refs are getting worse by the minute tonight.

  16. Malkin is frustrating me

  17. GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    HAVE NO IDEA WHO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  18. YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. Nice plays by Letang and Neal on that goal.

  20. Call 800-FAT-LADY…. this is about to be over.

  21. the bug-eyed walrus doesn’t look too happy lol

  22. the other thread is just as quiet…off night

  23. Pierre McGuire LOVES the Pens. I can hear Kenny Albert rolling his eyes.

  24. WOOT!!!!! TANGER!

  25. TANGER !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    I HEAR MY G/F SINGING !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  26. BEAUTIFUL

Just beautiful move and shot by Letang

wheel her out… because the fat lady is warming up

  27. This is kinda fun

  28. That was a filthy play by a defenseman.

  29. Pens top D prospects are playing against each other in the Memorial Cup semifinal tonight. Pouliot (Portland Winterhawks) vs. Harrington and Maatta (London Knights). Word is, these guys are really good. Probably a couple of years away from Pens.

  30. Boo!

    My g/f just stopped singing……

  31. The Sens got one – I’m puttin’ on my Pens socks. Gotta push the mojo…

  32. Man, these refs are pathetic

  33. Great. Take a penalty when Sid is breaking on net.

    But you showed him.

  34. Game Over … I think …

  35. MALKIN !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WARM THE FAT LADY BACK UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  36. That was kinda nice

  37. He smoked him like a bad cigar!!!!

  38. That is Vladimir and Natalia’s boy! That was a killer.

  39. Just saw on the replay of the Neal goal that Methot suplexed Crosby in front of the net. Dude has a possible WWE career ahead of him.

  40. Ottawa is going to take chances when the third period starts, right?

Could get interesting. And fun. Pens are a dangerous team to take chances against.

  41. Cookie is having a blast

  42. I told ya! Neil can’t help himself

  43. Here is that chippy play I thought we would see earlier in the series.

  44. I’ve never seen a player have his shot blocked more than Niskanen.

  45. Next!

  46. WOOT!!!!!!!!

  47. NEAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LA LA LA!!! LA LA LA !!!
DO RE MI FA SO LA TI DO !!!!!!!!

    :)

  48. PUT THE GOONS IN

  49. Poor Gonch got fleeced

  50. Okay who has the fork? I think the Senators are done!

  51. The. Real. Deal. James. Neal. Pretty awesome that he’s found his offensive game, eh?

  52. Turn out the lights….the party’s over….they say that all good things must end…. Bring on the Bruins!

  53. Come on Letang wake up!

  54. Tanger, please pay attention

  55. I don’t mean this to sound as whiny as it may come across, considering they are about to clinch this series. But I wonder why the Pens seem to lose concentration at times.

  56. JAMES IS ON FIRE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  57. HAT TRICK NeAL!!!!!!!

  58. HAT TRICK NEAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  59. Hattie, Hattie, Bo Battie!

  60. OH my GOD

What a goal by James Neal…. lookout NHL, he’s alive!!

  61. The Real Deal!

  62. Nice slump

  63. Now you put in guys like Brandon Inge

  64. Love the song the crowd is singing :)

  65. Bring on the Boston Brooooooons (as errey would say)

  66. Methinks the REAL Pens have finally showed up. :)

  67. For all the angst following game three, the Pens were one defensive lapse from a sweep.

  68. With the risk of sounding I am drinking too much Kool-aid…………………..

This team is coming together at the right time. They have put the struggles of the Islander series behind them, have put the brainfart that was Game 3 of this series behind them.

Solid goaltending, pressuring the other teams zone, Neal awakens.

Gonna be tough to beat, tough to beat.

  69. Good Night everybody.

Welcome to the newcomers here tonight. Would be nice to hear from you guys/gals again.

    Off to the Bucs thread.

    Hippo Out. ;)

  70. Pens “getting to their game”. A nice, but expected and required win.

  71. They just showed the crowd that was watching outside Consol.

    I don’t get it.

    They were wearing COATS

  72. It’s been fun but I must call it a night. I have an early wake up call tomorrow. Night!

  73. I really don’t know why but I really had just as much hatred for the Senators in this series as I’ve had with teams like the Flyers and I’ve come to a conclusion on why that is… That whack job of a paper they have up there in Ottawa. Has to burn Melnyk and Brennan to see Cooke putting up assists in 3 straight games. Guess Brennan will now have more time to play with that package now that the Senators are done!

  74. The Senators were easy pickins for the Pens. I’ve heard it said before that you need one easy series on the way to the cup. Well, there it was. Broons will be much more difficult.

Let’s Go Rangers!! Make it a 7 game series!! After that i don’t care who wins.
