Podcast: Foster lays it on Steelers’ line

By Dejan Kovacevic | Trib Total Media

Here’s today’s TribLIVE Radio show podcast featuring special guest Ramon Foster, candid as always, speaking about the Steelers’ offensive-line play against Tennessee.

Also on the show, I ask the Cincinnati Enquirer’s Joe Reedy not only to break down the Bengals for next Monday but also to share his own early impressions of James Harrison.

And, in his weekly segment, the Steelers are, um, honored by @suckmeter

Here’s video of the opening segment that tries — really hard — to find positives

Thanks to all who called and emailed!

no podcast of the rest of the show? :-(

DK: Sorry, Tom. Audio of middle 40 minutes is up there in first sentence. Tried something new. Will switch back next week.

Dejan, you are a very optimistic guy, however, life is short,so let’s get to the crux of the matter. The steelers had a nice run for many many years, and now it is their turn to go through transisition, while teams like Seattle, Cincinnatti, San Fran, and a few others have their day in the sun. The sad part is the steelers refuse to change with the times.I thought when they drafted Kordell Stewart, and his moment of slash, they were on their way to being truly innovated, but he turned out to be a major dud, and they went right back into their mode of three yards and a cloud of dust, except Willie Parker. I’m sorry, but i don’t feel Mike Tomlin, not like when Chuck Noll, and Bill Cowher were hired. This guy sounds like and english teacher or someone who distorts reality with words to make you think what you saw did not really happen. We know he is very intelligent, but what we see is what is happening in front of us.The steelers have a long long way to go. I’m from the era of Stautner. Glass. Lipscomb,Layne,John Henry, etc…. One thing about those guys, they lost but they played very very hard.

Regarding this Todd Haley in a bar story on Saturday eve….
Aren’t coaches and players suppose to be in the hotel the night before the game?

  5. Joe says:

Best sports analyst in Pittsburgh … bar none.

MY DUDE ! …. Dishin’ out the SUNSHINE!
