  1. JohninOshkosh says:

    Pitt 24. UVA 21

I think Milo said he was going to be at this game.

It would be a nice Pitt victory.

  2. Arriba Wilver says:

Like everybody else, I’m worried about the defense.

  3. +1

For every major college football team in the nation.

  4. BostonsCommon says:

You’ve got the right idea, but I think you’re a little low on both numbers. I mean New Mexico put up 28 on this defense.

I’ll go 41-34. Pitt gets a big win for a big home coming crowd, recruits are impressed, and the Panthers have two weeks to prepare for a puzzeling Virginia Tech team.

    Hail to Pitt

  5. JohninOshkosh says:

You are correct, BC. I should update my prediction to 35-31 Pitt!

Last night a HS game in Wisconsin finished at 84-82. Maybe that will happen here.

  6. Lad 9 says:

Agree Lucky. College football is going through a period where offense is dominating, and our expectations probably need adjusted to compensate.

  7. JRay3 says:

Savage, Connor, Boyd and Street turning into quite the lethal offensive combination. Pitt turns two turnovers into 14 points and build 14-0 lead.

Most life in a Pitt offense in quite some time, PC putting an energy into Pitt football.

  8. Mercy. At least it wasn’t 84-0.

    Was that in regulation?

  9. Arriba Wilver says:

He who should not be named’s offense two years later?

  10. JRay3 says:

A lot of questions leading into this week about Pitt’s defense and so far early on seems they have risen to the challenge, much better effort on that side of the ball this afternoon thus far.

  11. Lad 9 says:

I got caught in a channel change. How did Pitt turn it over?

  12. Lad 9 says:

I will not speak of the Anti-Chryst!

  13. BostonsCommon says:

Defense looks solid, but man is the Virginia offense helping them out. Can’t complete a pass, can’t take a shotgun snap. If all they’re going to do is run into Aaron Donald’s arms all day it’s going to be a good day for the Panthers.

  14. BostonsCommon says:

Need to see some more from the Oline. Virginia is winning the battle up front.

  15. JRay3 says:

Savage INT on either really poor throw or miscommunication as no blue jersey was in vicinity.

  16. Lad 9 says:

    Thanks JRay!

  17. BostonsCommon says:

5 sacks given up going into the 4th… Not good enough. Gonna have to hang in for this one…

  18. JRay3 says:

Great defensive effort for the Panthers today, Savage got beat up a bit so PC will have to work and get that shored up. Two weeks to prepare for Va Tech a team the Panthers have owned of late- four straight wins against Hokies.

3-1, 2-1 in ACC and right in the mix in Coastal, very good start to the season.

  19. Arriba Wilver says:

  20. JoeyBats says:

Hopefully Savage come back from the concussion for VaTech.
Jeykll & Hyde Pitt Team…D was worst in nation last week (OK…first 3 weeks!)…yesterday, offense was miserable…… 7 sacks, 3 turnovers. Blame a lot on QB getting the BEN treatment — no O.Line protection.
