  3. JohninOshkosh says:

Do folks tailgate outside Wembley ? Seems like it is a uniquely American custom.

  4. JohninOshkosh says:

Nice selfie for the profile pic, btw.

  5. Wembley-Hooligans says:

vicious chant heard from Stiller fans inside “why have a roof at all” stadium:

“Big Ben arms be pointin’ 11 and Won, lest we his beat head in and run.” -Wembley Hooligans

-my attorney says I must relay the fact that the above quote is in jest and is not a threat of violence, merely poking fun at Euro-pee-on futbol violence.

    Roo-Knee clap-clap Photo-Bombed clap-clap

  6. JohninOshkosh says:

Good Lord, where is all the Steelers chatter ?

Don’t care they are winless. They are playing in London people! London!

  7. London, England or London, KY?

  8. Dom says:

    24-14 steelers is my prediciton

  9. Lad 9 says:

OK. Lets get off he Schneider today. GO STEELERS!

  10. Lad 9 says:

    Schneid damn auto correct

  11. theplanisworking says:

    London, Ontario?

  12. theplanisworking says:

    Wembley is a great stadium.
Just looks odd hosting a football game.

  13. Eric Bowser says:

With the first pick in the 2014 NFL Draft, Pittsburgh Steelers select….

  14. theplanisworking says:

    Nice catch by Sanders.

  15. theplanisworking says:

    Even nicer run by Bell!

  16. Steelag70 says:

A losing mindset has permeated this team…

  17. florida steeler says:

Adams is the WORST tackle in football.

  18. Arriba Wilver says:

O you have evaluated every single tackle in football ? ;-)

  19. florida steeler says:

They can’t even recover a fumble with only white shirts on the ball!!!!

  20. florida steeler says:

Enough to know this guy is horrible. Do you watch the game???

  21. Rbilak says:

Coach Tomlin, I now have to question your ability to evaluate talent, Mike Adams is the worst starting tackle in football, for you not have have benched him for his play in the first half makes me question your ability. Beachum should start and Adams should be inactive. It is no wonder the team is so bad. Great time Out call Mike, again your coaching is below the line. I have never called for Tomlin to be fired, but after watching this first half, Mr Rooney needs to ask him some questions. This makes no sense. What is he watching? Or is he simply that clueless? Honestly you cannot defend Adams having a helmet for the second half or the next game.

  22. theplanisworking says:

Has the Vikings punter been on the field today?

    D not making stops.

  23. Brandie says:

    FIRE TOMLIN!!!!!

    Channeling My Inner Eric Bowser.

  24. theplanisworking says:

    Brandie, that is funny!

But you are going to get me in trouble with the “old guard” of posters. Stop that. ;)

And as we speak, D gives up another TD.
    Looking bad.

  25. Brandie says:

    Annoying on so many levels!

  26. Wild Bill says:

This is going to get really ugly with the Vikings knowing we have to throw. Adams is totally useless out there. Hippo, get in there for him!

  27. Steelag70 says:

    It is embarrassing actually…

  28. Steelag70 says:

From a franchise of excellence and winners to a franchise where losing is accepted.

  29. Lad 9 says:

Bad news. L C Greenwood passed at the age of 67. RIP #68.

  30. Brandie says:

Oh wow! Just keeps getting worse.

  31. Steelag70 says:

With Foster out, Steelers have to play Beachum at guard…

  32. theplanisworking says:

    HA!” Good One, Bill!
    Now, that is funny.
But Adams seems to be a bust. Colbert needs to do a better job of drafting.

Hope this post doesnt give a member of the “old Guard” a coronary. I dared speak poorly of the team, which according to some, isnt allowed………….

  33. Wild Bill says:

Why in the he!! Is Tomlin still rotating running backs?

  34. theplanisworking says:

    RIP Gold shoes.

  35. theplanisworking says:

    Lane Kiffin fired from USC.

I heard there was a celebratory bonfire at Tennessee. ;)

  36. Brandie says:

Lane Kiffin was not the final answer.

  37. Wild Bill says:

    A great player. Sad moment.

  38. Brandie says:

Is Adams healthy from being stabbed?

  39. Steelag70 says:

Brandie, if not, then shame on the coaching staff for playing him…

  40. Wild Bill says:

Wonder if Silas Redd is still happy he transferred to USC?

  41. theplanisworking says:

USC has only 55 scholarship players.

You cant win with that, especially the schedule USC plays.

Not defending Kiffin, but the hypocrisy at USC is unreal.

The next coach better be a miracle worker, or he will be fired soon also.

  42. Steelag70 says:

The way the defense is playing, they should have gone for the TD…

  43. Brandie says:

Just a thought. Otherwise, he is really, really weak and bad! Here’s to going o’fer.

  44. Lad 9 says:

+1 I was trying to think of a candidate for that job and I have the perfect fit – Fraud Graham! :)

  45. Brandie says:

    U Mean Fraud Haley!

  46. Steelag70 says:

    This defense is pathetic….embarrassing….gutless…no balls..

  47. Brandie says:

    In a word…OLD!

  48. Steelag70 says:

Not most of the front seven…

  49. Steelag70 says:

Poor coaching by all today. Should have gone for the TD last series. Now they have to drive 78 yds to get it…

  50. Steelag70 says:

Apparently so…for the most part…where has Timmons been?

  51. Wild Bill says:

Why was that not an “in the grasp” dead ball before the fumble?

  52. Steelag70 says:

What a pathetic effort by this team today…

  53. Lad 9 says:

Officials missed an obvious horse collar on that last sack. Still, Steelers did not deserve to win.

  54. florida steeler says:

    Did Adams block anyone today???

  55. theplanisworking says:

    good comeback effort.
    Just a bad team.
    D leaks like a sieve.

Many changes needed on the bye week.

  56. Steelag70 says:

    Plan….they played a pathetic game…

  57. Wild Bill says:

    Victory.

  58. Eric Bowser says:

    Fire Tomlin…

    Fire Colbert…

    Fire Haley…

    Fire LeBeau…

  59. florida steeler says:

Cortez allen should have remained on the bench today. Let’s not hear anymore about Dick LeBeau’s great defense. Woodley, Timmons–overpaid.

  60. Steelag70 says:

This team has become the laughingstock of the league ..

  61. Wild Bill says:

Can’t wait to hear what Coach Sound Byte has to say after this one.

And to read what DK writes.

  62. Steelag70 says:

Eric, you know the Rooney’s will not fire anyone….they will “stay the course”….

  63. 21sthebest says:

QB was in the pocket. Not a penalty.

  64. J Walter Weatherman says:

No, I’m pretty sure Jacksonville still holds that honor. However, it’s bad enough that the Steelers are more of a laughingstock than the Browns.

  65. florida steeler says:

Their poor drafts and overpaying people like Woodley and Timmons has led to some of the problems. Plus, parity has caught up with us and we may be in a spiral similar to San Francisco was for years??
Also, not the best head coach in the league.

  66. Steelag70 says:

Playing for that #1 pick folks…

  67. Nancy52 says:

    No, they just “retire” coaches.

  68. J Walter Weatherman says:

I questioned Timmons’ contract at the time he signed it, but he’s the best player on their defense. Woodley and Ike will not be back after this season.

  69. 21sthebest says:

I guess the only thing that’s left on this is the Steelers v. Pirates TV ratings. :-)

  70. Dave G says:

Is this the first year that the Steelers were pretty much eliminated before the Pirates?

  71. twentytwo22 says:

I wish we had a defensive playmaker like Kiko Alonso.

  72. Steelag70 says:

He Browns have won 2 games with Brian Hoyer folks…

  73. At least we know the one of the 2 that will give an honest assessment.

  74. Lad 9 says:

You are correct 21. My error. Good call on your part.

  75. One probably an 8.3 share.

  76. 21sthebest says:

There you are! That was for you!

  77. Dom says:

think the browns would be interested in parting with both first round picks in 2014, a second in 2014, and a first round in 2015 if they perform so well that they can’t get one of the top quarterbacks in next year’s draft. That’s akin to the picks Washington gave up to get RG3.

  78. Much obliged.

Hope he posts the ratings, truly.

  79. 21sthebest says:

And I hope there’s an interesting argument afterwards!

  80. theplanisworking says:

    +

  81. BreakTheStreak says:

Praying we can get a qb in first 5 picks. Trade Big Turnover Benji and get rid of his bad contract, fire Haley! I wish Tomlin would get the axe too but think Rooneys will give him another year (sad). Lebeau will retire and run-in- quicksand Ryan Clark and no hands Taylor will be gonzo. Hopefully can find a new left tackle in free agency

  82. Steelag70 says:

Talk about another mistake in player evaluation, the Steelers let Lewis walk because they though Allen was better?

  83. Steelag70 says:

We need a franchise LT in the first 5 picks…

  84. Arriba Wilver says:

Nope, but I didn’t say he was the “WORST” tackle in the league.

  85. Rob says:

    1- Sack
    1- Tackle for loss
    0 – QB hits
    0 – Turnovers

    Pretty telling

  86. Arriba Wilver says:

Who the heck is the “old guard?

  87. Arriba Wilver says:

It’s a bad day when Meet the Press is more interesting than the Steeler game.

  88. Brotherhood of the Redus says:

Would 12 straight be optimistic? Haha the problem is Mike “big suck” Adams….he and Gilbert just plain can’t get it done. Imagine what you man bell and Ben would be pulling off with a decent line

  89. Brotherhood of the Redus says:

Jake locker just broke his dang leg

  90. JohninOshkosh says:

Can the Steelers shut down ?

  91. Brandie says:

    As in governmental or operation?

  92. cherokee23 says:

I wonder if their salary cap situation would allow them to pay the #1 pick

  93. Eric Bowser says:

    Steelers…
have NFL worst 3 sacks in 4 games
have NFL worst 0 turnovers in 4 games

  94. florida steeler says:

Well I did and I stand by that statement. And, anyone that knows anything about football or coached it agrees with me.

  95. bizrow says:

They say losing can build character

IMHO Stillers need some character, not characters

  96. theplanisworking says:

Right now, I dont think they could shut down a light switch.
I never thought I would see the proud Steeler D collapse before my eyes.
I dont know if it is talent, coaching, or both.

(This is not a complaint. I dont want certain people to have heart attacks.)

  97. Pucknutz says:

Hey Dave – that’s a good one!!! LOL
Mathematically not, but realistically, quite possible!
    Strange Days…..

  98. Brandie says:

    This may get me fired…

I am not upset that the Steelers lost. They have been so good for so long a down time was bound to happen. I am disappointed, don’t get me wrong, but upset, no.

We are lucky as Pittsburgh sports fans compared to Cleveland with having consistently competitive hockey, football, and now baseball teams. I realize that championships are not my birthright, unlike some fans of New York teams! I don’t ever want to become that fan.

With that said, it’s time to blow up the team from coaches to players and back again. It’s time to draft better and take a longer closer look at what ius out there free agent wise.

Fire me if you must, just my two cents.

  99. JohninOshkosh says:

  100. OZ says:

No they didn’t. They couldn’t match the money Lewis got and fit it under the salary cap…

  101. Dave G says:

I think you might mean takeaways, Eric…
