    Lets GO PENS

And that other team that is representing the burgh this weekend ;-)

  2. So much for that theory of David Price, the Rays’ ace, turning the series around.

I guess he’s just no Cole.

  3. Getting ready to watch the Pens and I feel like I’m not fired up. I am, but the second game of the season just doesn’t compare with postseason baseball. Maybe Sid or Geno will do some magic. It’ll help me pass the time until 4:30 tomorrow.

    Go Bucs, Go Pens.

  4. Good evening everyone. I survived (barely) my trip to the House of Mouse. I am so glad to be back. I kept up with the blog while I was gone but it was hard to add my 2 cents on my NOOK.

  5. YEAH SID!!!!!

  6. The Kid scores!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes!!!!!!!!!!!

  7. The Crosby Show scores!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  8. LOL Nice check by Kobasew

  9. KOBAWHO?????????????

    GOAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  10. GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kobasew!!!!

  11. You know, it is very comforting to see Scuds back on the team.

    Just sayin’.

  12. So now, with this new defense-first scheme, 1-3-1 thing or whatever it is, the game will now end 2-0?

It’s OK with me. I love defense in any sport.

College football called and wonders how defense is played.

  13. If Georgia could play a little D they’d be a great team.

    Oh well. They won.

  14. To quote Johnny Cash (sort of) “There sat the dirty mangy dog that named me Kobasew”

  15. Well just saw Russell Martin, Cutch and Morneau taking in the game. Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. Everyone has the Pirates on their minds tonight including Paul Alexander.

  17. Bennett really wanted that one!!!

  18. Duper, you gotta bury that!

  19. The best baseball player to go to a pens game.

  20. I really like this “hybrid” icing.
Will eliminate players boarding each other over the puck.

  21. If Reverend Lucky is reading this……… dont watch the Ohio State game.
They are trailing for the first time all year.

  22. Good job Flower!

  23. Jeffrey with a nice chance…dang

  24. The always scary 2-0 lead heading to third period.

Five solid periods of goaltending by Fleury and team defense in front of him.

  25. Did the flyers change the color on their jersey?

  26. UGH! Sid and Geno, two on one…and no score…

  27. KUNITZ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    3-0 Good Guys. :)

  28. YES! Kunitz scores on a Penalty Shot :)

    • Now I understand that NJ and Beefalo arent Chicago and Boston when it comes to offensive power and crashing the net, but the Pens new D alignment is proving to benefit Fleury a ton. It seems when we get a 2-0 3-0 lead now, I dont see us giving up 3 quick goals.

It remains to be seen how it fares against better scoring teams.

      Just my .02 cents. :)

  29. Love it – need to call that more often – 66 did it sooooo well !!!

  30. woop woop!!!

    Craig effn Adams :)

  31. Great performance by the D again.
    Jacques Martin for MVP. ;)

    Good night all, or some,

    Tomorrow, LETS GO BUCS !!!!

  32. 2-0. Great start Pens. Lets go Bucs!

  33. Pens win 4-1

    Another solid team victory.

  34. Ha! MAF wavin the Jolly roger!!

  35. Dom, your boy had a good game :)

  36. Crosby, Kobasew and Adams all on pace for 82 goal season. Just saying. If they can get a Sid goal, a Koby tip-in, and an Adams empty netter every night, they should win most.

  37. Still no Brandie? Hope you’re OK kid.

Check out the OSU at N’Western game in a few. It’s halftime now, but a good game. The fans are remiinicence of the Buc fans a few nights ago. Good Pens win. To bad The Flower didn’t get his 2nd shutout.

Man if Frankie can pitch a good game tomorrow and we can score a few. We would be in the drivers seat.

  38. Shout out to Brandecita! <3 ya sistah!
