    Lets GO PENS

And that other team that is representing the burgh this weekend ;-)

  2. Jandy says:

420!!!! Way to go Biz!!! :)

  3. Drew71 says:

So much for that theory of David Price, the Rays’ ace, turning the series around.

I guess he’s just no Cole.

  4. theplanisworking says:

Biz, I forgot to post this for you yesterday………………..

    Jeff King………
    Martins Ferry , Ohio.

  5. theplanisworking says:

Biz, I forgot to post this for you yesterday………………..

    Jeff King………
    Martins Ferry , Ohio.

  6. theplanisworking says:

Maybe DK’s column should have given credit to the 9 wides?
For keeping the pressure on Cole and Pedro?

    ;)

  7. Jandy says:

That’s strictly behind the scenes ;)

  8. theplanisworking says:

    Good evening.
Lets see what Jacques Martin does for the D tonight.

And, the Bucs sent Duke Welker to the Twins to complete the Morneau deal.

  9. Jandy says:

Hey Hipposter! if the last game was any indication, Martin has had an inpact on the D and also how the offense plays :)
    Dukie?!

  10. theplanisworking says:

    Yeah, just read it.

    Duke Welker was the PTBNL.

    BTW………. havent seen Brandie recently.
    Hope she is ok.
    Prayers to her.

  11. Jandy says:

she prolly needs the space, God bless her. I am worried about her too, just sending up more prayers.

  12. theplanisworking says:

Maybe if I post one of the dancing Hippo videos, it will bring her out of hiding??

    ;)

  13. Jandy says:

LOL you can always try ;)

  14. Jandy says:

There’s only one Cole Train Drew Dahling :)

  15. theplanisworking says:

    As you wish……….

  16. Jandy says:

    Wooo-hooooo!!

  17. KenKopp says:

Getting ready to watch the Pens and I feel like I’m not fired up. I am, but the second game of the season just doesn’t compare with postseason baseball. Maybe Sid or Geno will do some magic. It’ll help me pass the time until 4:30 tomorrow.

    Go Bucs, Go Pens.

  18. Dom says:

    Big save!

  19. Barb says:

Good evening everyone. I survived (barely) my trip to the House of Mouse. I am so glad to be back. I kept up with the blog while I was gone but it was hard to add my 2 cents on my NOOK.

  20. Barb says:

I so agree with you KK.

  21. Dom says:

    Goal by Sid!!!

  22. Jandy says:

    YEAH SID!!!!!

  23. Barb says:

    The Kid scores!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes!!!!!!!!!!!

  24. Jandy says:

    Assist for Duper :)

  25. KenKopp says:

Hey Barb. Hope you enjoyed your stay down here. You had pretty decent weather huh? Little humid to what your used to. Did “It’s a small world after all…” get in your head.

  26. Jandy says:

    Hey Barb :)

  27. theplanisworking says:

Since Brandie isnt around, I will have to do the nickname honors for you.

    Welcome, Keystone Kopp. :)

  28. Jandy says:

    Hey KK :)

  29. theplanisworking says:

    Hi Barb, welcome back.

  30. Jandy says:

YOur boy is on his game, Dom :)

  31. theplanisworking says:

    The Crosby Show scores!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  32. Jandy says:

    Good job, Planimal

  33. Barb says:

Actually it wasn’t too bad. I survived the humidity but my feet didn’t. Actually the song that is in my head is “Belle” from Beauty and the Beast. Weird.

  34. Barb says:

Hey Jandy. Our baby boy does it again!

  35. theplanisworking says:

    Danke.

  36. Jandy says:

    Yes, he sure did!

  37. Barb says:

    Thanks Hipposter.

  38. Jandy says:

    LOL Nice check by Kobasew

  39. Jandy says:

    De Nada

  40. Lad 9 says:

Good evening Crüe. Good vibes out to our girl Brandie.

  41. theplanisworking says:

    Kobawho? ;)

  42. KenKopp says:

    You guys are Kool!

  43. Barb says:

Hi Crue. I hope everything is okay with our dear girl. Sending XOs her way.

  44. Jandy says:

    RRAADDD LLLAAADDDD!!!!!

  45. theplanisworking says:

And, if you have little ones, they can be Keystone Lite. ;)

  46. theplanisworking says:

    Helloo Laddy.

I posted the Dancing Hippo above, in an effort to smoke her out. ;)

  47. Lad 9 says:

    JANNNNNDDDDDYYYYYYYY! Go Pens!

  48. Lad 9 says:

I saw him. If there is anything that an cause her to surface, that will be it. Good job my friend!

  49. Jandy says:

    Heeeellll yeeaahh!!!

  50. theplanisworking says:

    Hahahahaha! :D

  51. Lad 9 says:

Hey Barb. We have had a better Pirate ride up here than they do in mickeyworld these days! :)

  52. theplanisworking says:

    KOBAWHO?????????????

    GOAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  53. Jandy says:

    GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kobasew!!!!

  54. Barb says:

    SUE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  55. theplanisworking says:

You know, it is very comforting to see Scuds back on the team.

    Just sayin’.

  56. So now, with this new defense-first scheme, 1-3-1 thing or whatever it is, the game will now end 2-0?

It’s OK with me. I love defense in any sport.

College football called and wonders how defense is played.

  57. Drew71 says:

If Georgia could play a little D they’d be a great team.

    Oh well. They won.

  58. Lad 9 says:

To quote Johnny Cash (sort of) “There sat the dirty mangy dog that named me Kobasew”

  59. Jandy says:

    You got that right, Hipposter

  60. Barb says:

Well just saw Russell Martin, Cutch and Morneau taking in the game. Awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  61. Jandy says:

Haha Lad, you’re reading my mind…I was thinking of “A boy named Sue” too lolol

  62. Lad 9 says:

I caught the last 10 minutes and the OT of that game Drew. Heck of a game. Really like Murray for Georgia.

  63. theplanisworking says:

    Good points, Reverend.

I believe this 1-3-1 lock is meant to stop the Breakouts against Fleury.
Our offense will take care of itself, its the D in front of Fleury that was a major problem.

  64. Jandy says:

No way it’s 2-0 Spunky Rev

  65. Jandy says:

    well said!

  66. Barb says:

How do you do, my name is Kobasew!!!!!!

  67. theplanisworking says:

Tennessee really took it to them.
Felt bad for the kid that fumbled out of the end zone for the Vols.

  68. Lad 9 says:

    Now I’m gonna score!

  69. Jandy says:

    LOL Yinz are nuts!

  70. I did read that somewhere. Why couldn’t they have figured that out last season?

  71. KenKopp says:

Kool! I have this gut feeling that Justin’s first homer is going to be a big one. He’s been getting some key hits, but I gotta feeling he has a big dinger comin’ soon. Maybe tomorrow?

  72. Lad 9 says:

    Same here.

  73. theplanisworking says:

    Or 2012, 2011, 2010………….

  74. theplanisworking says:

    Down Tiger……………

  75. Barb says:

    ++++++++++++++++++++++ :)

  76. Jandy says:

    THey didn’t have Jacques Martin

  77. theplanisworking says:

Jandy Girl, Martin doesnt have the lock on the 1-3-1 trap.
    Just sayin’

  78. Barb says:

Everyone has the Pirates on their minds tonight including Paul Alexander.

  79. Jandy says:

I’m just sayin’ he pointed out the obvious, Hipposter

  80. theplanisworking says:

Yeah, mathces that point on top of yer head! ;)

  81. theplanisworking says:

    Sorry, I am not a Johnny Depp fan…………. ;)

  82. Jandy says:

    Bennett really wanted that one!!!

  83. Jandy says:

    Duper, you gotta bury that!

  84. Pucknutz says:

    Really bad Plan LOL

  85. Barb says:

    Well shiver me timbers.

  86. Dom says:

The best baseball player to go to a pens game.

  87. Barb says:

    Arrrrrrrrrrrrgh.

  88. Pucknutz says:

    Ya Ken,
Feeling the same way. And I am a true Hockey Fanatic…… but 4:30 tomorrow is the focus for sure.
    GO PENS !
    BEAT EM BUCS!

  89. theplanisworking says:

    Raise the Jolly Penguin?

  90. theplanisworking says:

I really like this “hybrid” icing.
Will eliminate players boarding each other over the puck.

  91. Jandy says:

    I agree

  92. Pucknutz says:

Ya Plan, I think I like it also.
I don’t have the stats, but I believe very seldom was it beat.
Don’t need guys getting hurt for no reason. (Don’t have the stats on that either but one is too many)
Gonna be a little bitchin early on but I think the refs will get right most of the time.
    GO PENS!

  93. theplanisworking says:

    +++++

    ( – - – - for the refs )

  94. theplanisworking says:

If Reverend Lucky is reading this……… dont watch the Ohio State game.
They are trailing for the first time all year.

  95. Pucknutz says:

Ok Plan splain the Morse code for the refs to me! :)

  96. theplanisworking says:

Just a whole bunch of minuses for them. :)

  97. Pucknutz says:

Saint have halos , not points!

  98. Jandy says:

    Good job Flower!

  99. Jandy says:

    Jeffrey with a nice chance…dang

  100. JohninOshkosh says:

    Tough game for the Buckeyes.

  101. Pucknutz says:

After I finish this beer I am going to start studying Morse Code. Ya go head laugh but I could really rip you guys and those people in interrogation or what ever it is called wold have a heck of a time filtering out my “bad” words.
First thing in the morning I am gonna dit -dot -dash !
    Well… maybe :)

  102. theplanisworking says:

    :D

  103. Eric Bowser says:

The always scary 2-0 lead heading to third period.

Five solid periods of goaltending by Fleury and team defense in front of him.

  104. Eric Bowser says:

Looks like he has a little more jump… maybe he’s finally over the knee injury.

  105. Dom says:

Did the flyers change the color on their jersey?

  106. Jandy says:

    I hope so!

  107. Jandy says:

    Not scary tonight :)

  108. Jandy says:

Why do you say that dom?

  109. Jandy says:

UGH! Sid and Geno, two on one…and no score…

  110. Pucknutz says:

There are exceptions my Saintly one.
Cant’ tell fur sure what is under that blue and white scarf. :)

  111. Jandy says:

Trust me, Puckers, I’m no Saint ;)

  112. theplanisworking says:

FIRE SID AND GENO !!!!!!!!!!!! ;)

  113. Pucknutz says:

    Me neither.
Although Saint Pucknutz does have a nice ring to it!

  114. theplanisworking says:

    KUNITZ !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    3-0 Good Guys. :)

  115. Jandy says:

YES! Kunitz scores on a Penalty Shot :)

  116. Jandy says:

    Silly Hippo!

  117. Pucknutz says:

Love it – need to call that more often – 66 did it sooooo well !!!

  118. theplanisworking says:

Now I understand that NJ and Beefalo arent Chicago and Boston when it comes to offensive power and crashing the net, but the Pens new D alignment is proving to benefit Fleury a ton. It seems when we get a 2-0 3-0 lead now, I dont see us giving up 3 quick goals.

It remains to be seen how it fares against better scoring teams.

    Just my .02 cents. :)

  119. theplanisworking says:

I think he was 6 of 8 for his career.

  120. Jandy says:

    poop!

  121. Lad 9 says:

I wanted to see another shutout too!

  122. Jandy says:

    woop woop!!!

    Craig effn Adams :)

  123. Jandy says:

yeah I’m kinda bummed about that

  124. theplanisworking says:

    GOAL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    effn……LOL

  125. Jandy says:

    lol!

  126. theplanisworking says:

Great performance by the D again.
    Jacques Martin for MVP. ;)

    Good night all, or some,

    Tomorrow, LETS GO BUCS !!!!

  127. Lad 9 says:

2-0. Great start Pens. Lets go Bucs!

  128. Eric Bowser says:

    Pens win 4-1

    Another solid team victory.

  129. Lad 9 says:

    Night Plan

  130. Jandy says:

G’night Hipposter, sleep well friend :*

  131. Jandy says:

    woop woop!

  132. Jandy says:

Ha! MAF wavin the Jolly roger!!

  133. Jandy says:

    Keyword…team.
    Indeed!

  134. Jandy says:

Dom, your boy had a good game :)

  135. Kevin says:

Crosby, Kobasew and Adams all on pace for 82 goal season. Just saying. If they can get a Sid goal, a Koby tip-in, and an Adams empty netter every night, they should win most.

  136. KenKopp says:

Still no Brandie? Hope you’re OK kid.

Check out the OSU at N’Western game in a few. It’s halftime now, but a good game. The fans are remiinicence of the Buc fans a few nights ago. Good Pens win. To bad The Flower didn’t get his 2nd shutout.

Man if Frankie can pitch a good game tomorrow and we can score a few. We would be in the drivers seat.

  137. Jandy says:

Shout out to Brandecita! <3 ya sistah!
