  1. Great info on Ben, locker rooms & their attitude! What you described is exactly what their play on the field looks like!

  2. I would submit, that when a team pays its QB $100 million, that QB has to do it. The analogy to Brady is spot on. Sure the Pats are running the ball a lot more and better, but when the game is on the the line, Brady is still getting it done.

I would also point to Aaron Rodgers. GB has had at least as many injuries, if not more than the Steelers…to RBs, WRs, TEs and OLine. But Rodgers is dragging them along with him.

BBR was horrible in the 1st half against Oakland. When the Bradys and Rodgers and Mannings have incompletions, they are generally throwaways or forces, BBR is missing his receivers, starting with the first pass of the game which shoulda/coulda gone for 80 yards. He has really not played consistently well all year and I’m sure that its more complicated (more factors) than it appears on TV.

The Behind the Steel Curtain blog was showing a GIF that showed BBR with a good pocket and had both Heath and AB wide open in front of him and he never looked at them. I’ve thrown pillows at the TV over him not even looking at the RB checkdowns that were wide open and then running into sacks.

I agree, something ain’t right in Three River City. I’m at a lose in understanding why we have not seen much, if any, real improvement in his game these last couple of years.

Personnel, injuries and other factors be damned. This team is dead unless BBR starts earning his check…and I’ve have been a supporter of his for a long time.

  3. Always nice to hear soccer reported and a well conducted interview as well. The Hounds have been moving forward in a steady fashion for years now and its good they seem ready to bring championships home.

  4. Like most sports fans in this country, I haven’t tended to follow soccer although my niece has played it in the past. Nevertheless, I wish the Riverhounds well.

  5. Well, the Red Sox won their first world series in Fenway Park in 95 years and my brother in law who grew up in Boston is likely happy. And the Penguins beat the Bruins last night 3-2 and they got a small measure of revenge over the team that eliminated them last year in the playoffs 4-0, including that final 1-0 brush off. And so, Happy Halloween!

  6. They’ve got to protect Ben better and catch his passes. Only then will Ben come through the way he should.
