  6. theplanisworking says:

    Hiya Barb!

Welcome to Brandies Consol Dome. ;)

  7. Barb says:

Hi ya Hipposter. It’s a pleasure to be seen at the Dome.

  8. Milo Hamilton says:

    Little dude, big voice.

  9. theplanisworking says:

  10. Pucknutz says:

    What! No FIRE BYLSMA !!!

Maybe he can pull a Tomlin tonight. Pretty hard to trip a guy from the bench —– but maybe he can hook a Shark with a stick or sumpin……..

Really, really tired of the Tomlin dance story – pleas gooo away.

  11. Milo Hamilton says:

Anyone know if Uncle Niemi made it in for the game ?

  12. theplanisworking says:

    That should cover it………. ;)

  13. theplanisworking says:

As horrible as we think the Pens PP is, its #1 in the league at 26%.

I guess what the say about lies ans stats are true………

  14. Brandie says:

Although the photo shopped picture of Tomlin on the Soul Train Dance Line is funny!

  15. Milo Hamilton says:

No, it’s just that you all are wrong. :)

  16. Brandie says:

There are lies, damn lies, statistics, and the NHL!

  17. theplanisworking says:

    Consol Muppet!!!!!!!!

  18. theplanisworking says:

    Guilty, Milo.

  19. Brandie says:

    Why it’s 93.7. THE PLAN!

  20. theplanisworking says:

  21. scapper says:

Letang truly has become the master of the crisp, tape-to-tape pass. Unfortunately, those passes are usually his from his tape to an opponent’s tape, but they sure are crisp and on the money.

  22. Milo Hamilton says:

Whew, I’m glad you took that the right way. You’re bigger than me.

  23. Brandie says:

Brother Scalper finds the silver lining!

  24. Brandie says:

    Barbalicious! What’s shakin Bodacious One?

  25. theplanisworking says:

I am bigger than most, unless we have an elephant or whale come in recently.

Besides, I am the person who thought the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor.

  26. Barb says:

Brandecita good to hear from you this fine evening.

  27. scapper says:

No prob. It’s usually misspelled Scrapper. Stupid name to begin with. I’m likin’ Scalper. Might start going with that!

  28. theplanisworking says:

    SCIRE !!!!!

  29. JohninOshkosh says:

This game not on national television. I’m going to watch Carrie Underwood in “The Sound of Music.” See if it can make me tear up when “Edelweiss” is performed.

Have to rely on you blokes regarding the Pens.

  30. scapper says:

See that tape-to-tape by Tanger? Not too sharp but right on the money.

  31. Brandie says:

    Thank AutoCorrect for that.

  32. Milo Hamilton says:

Now that was a good period of hockey. This one has potential.

  33. Barb says:

Wow what a fast first period.

  34. scapper says:

Mercy! We came about 15 inches away from another of Orpik’s tape-to-Sid’s-face shots. Whew.

  35. Brandie says:

Why is this called The Consol Dome? Was there a meeting and no one informed me? ;-)

  36. Brandie says:

Dang! Pleas, no more shots of anything to Sid’s Face!

  37. Brandie says:

    Please, not pleas!

  38. Wild Bill says:

Some serious hitting going on out there. Orpik particularly nasty.

  39. Arriba Wilver says:

John—I’m going to have to rely on you for the Sound of Music. And not because it’s not available here to watch.

  40. Jandy says:

  41. Brandie says:

Remember, undisciplined vigor is spelled Flyers! Orpik needs to take care!

  42. Joni says:

  46. Jandy says:

Hey to all the Lunatics tonight :)

Well we skated with them thru the first…let’s see what the second brings…

  47. Milo Hamilton says:

“I’ve been waitin’ all day for Edelweiss.”

  48. Brandie says:

I hear the Con Trapped kids make a pretty decent O Line!

  49. Wild Bill says:

We’re not likely to ever get that ugly, thank The Lord.

  50. Brandie says:

    VonTrapp! I give up!

  51. theplanisworking says:

    How is the car?

  52. theplanisworking says:

  96. Barb says:

Well now we have Megna going to the locker room. :(

  97. Brandie says:

Oh my! Let’s hope it’s not serious!

  98. Why is Sid losing all those face-offs?

Too bad Megna doesn’t have “hands.”

Mikey Lange is calling a great game!

  99. Arriba Wilver says:

Wait a second. Jandy calls you sistah, and you call her mama?

    Hey there, Brandie!

  117. Jandy says:

2nd penalty for Niskie tonight >:/<

  118. Bizrow says:

I think Elvis has left the building

  119. Brandie says:

Needs to tighten that up! There is no room for sloppy in a game that relies heavily on positioning!

  120. Brandie says:

    Skinny Elvis, Fat Elvis?

  121. hockeymonster says:

Jandster, we’re up big agaynst sj. And you thought I gave PM a hard time?

  122. Brandie says:

  123. Jandy says:

C’mon Monster Mash, that’s not good. Even Depres isn’t in the box!

  124. J Walter Weatherman says:

Kunitz going to the Olympics seems to be a hot topic. I do believe that it would be a good move for Team Canada, given his chemistry with Sid and his ability to finish (checks and goals). However, as a Pens fan and citizen of the USA, I’d rather him not get selected. His omission would give Team USA a better chance, and I’d like to see him rest during the Olympic break for the Pens stretch run. If the Pens don’t pick up more grit, they’re really going to need everything from Kunitz into the playoffs.

  125. Wild Bill says:

Flower in full bloom again. Only goal against was scored by Engelland.

  126. Brandie says:

Are you googly eyed like Cookie Monster?

  127. hockeymonster says:

I thought I gave specific instructions to sit back n enjoy the circus over the holiday? ;)

  128. Jandy says:

Holiday is over….Christmas is still 2 1/2 weeks away ;)

  129. hockeymonster says:

Googly more so than googly eyed :)

  130. Jandy says:

    Monster Mash needs an AVATAR!

  131. Jandy says:

and who says I’m not enjoying it :P

  132. Barb says:

Steigy just said that Flower has stopped 44 goals so far tonight. Great night.

  133. Sarah says:

Too bad Borts is STILL being Bylsma’d for one game against PHL 8 months ago.
Engo will have to be fine in playoffs cos Borts won’t be ready .
    Go Disco!!!!

  134. theplanisworking says:

Behind 2 Chris Kunitz goals, and 44 stops by Marc-Andre Fleury, the Pens put on a good show tonight. Especially impressive was the fact that the Pens won despite Geno being scratched from the game, and the injuries to Megna and Dupuis.

  135. Sarah says:

As a US ciTizen I hope he WILL be selected.
He will help other teams shut down Sid and his line.

  136. Jandy says:

Great win by the boys tonight! I expected a bigger fight from the Sharks…wow…

  137. theplanisworking says:

  138. Wild Bill says:

Really don’t understand it. Maybe Borts is the new Jeffrey.

  139. theplanisworking says:

    Hippo Elvis.

  140. Jandy says:

I sure hope Duper and Megna are ok….sheesh

  141. theplanisworking says:

Didnt hear any updates on their condition.

  142. Jandy says:

Oh no WIld One, I sure hope not! I like Borts

  143. Sarah says:

I tHink our Plan identified tHe ONLY other coach stupid enough to sit Borts and play Engo –
DB is an idiot on this one.

Worse, we’ll really feel it when it REALLY counts …in playoffs …when Engo will be getting blown up, but Borts “isn’t ready”……

  144. Wild Bill says:

If we keep on losing forwards, Engo will have to go up front again. Then maybe Bortuzzo plays.

  145. Jandy says:

    RIP Nelson Mandela

  146. Jandy says:

    I LIKE Engo playing forward

  147. Wild Bill says:

  148. theplanisworking says:

    “our Plan”

    Hee hee hee.

Yeah, Torts is an all-time great — for stupidity.

  149. Sarah says:

Disco giving him a run for his money…..

  150. Sarah says:

I like Tanger playing forward !
    Whoops!! SORRY JANDY!!!

  151. Jandy says:

    4am comes too quickly…good night everyone :*

  152. theplanisworking says:

I slam Disco as much as anyone one here (except for you), but the bottom line is, the Pens are 20-9, and have the #1 PP in the league. I cant argue with the numbers.

But, I know that the regular season doesnt mean much, and we will see what happens in the playoffs.

  153. theplanisworking says:

    Night Nun.

  154. Arriba Wilver says:

    Pens 20

    Disco 9

  155. theplanisworking says:

    Hahahaha AW. :)

  156. hockeymonster says:

    Gotta have that funk…

  157. hockeymonster says:

  158. Arriba Wilver says:

  159. So far, nothing on Pascal except that he left with a lower body injury. Hopefully, it isn’t serious. After all, it’s also day to day with Geno Malkin. Anyhow, the Pens somehow won last night after being outshot 45-30.

  160. Mitchell Naimark says:

Checking in from Greater Annapolis, MD. Let’s Go Pens!

  161. Jandy says:

No need for sorries every time you mention Tanger, Sarah, I’m fine with it, silly girl :P

  162. Well, the Pens scored four second period goals on 27 shots off Niemi, which shows just how hot they are at this time.
