  1. LETS GO PENS !

Just hoping for no more injuries.
    Maybe Geno comes back tonight?

  2. LETS GO PENS !!!

No Geno, but Scuds is back!
Like to see Zats have a good one.

  3. Oy. Scuds and Zats not lookin good there.

  4. NEAL !!!!!!!

    Many Pens fans there.

  5. Actually — pretty nice play by Dubinsky— undressed Scuds and Zats.

No problem – Neal erases that one !!!

  6. Neal has alwas been a really good hockey player, but I think he is getting better & better. I worry about his temper and how he reacts to physical play, but his offensive skill just seems off the charts!

    • Methinks Mr Neal got a good talking to after the gratuitous knee to the head. Hey, Cookie turned the BS around – Neal should be able too also. Way too much talent there to be sitting out a suspension. We shall see…

  7. Loons ….I am just listening on radio……HOPING Disco has Neal onCrosby’s RW…..but it sounds like Vitale?….,can someone fill me in?….

  8. Online now…fabulous play be Sid to pass to the right side of the goal for Neal!….errr….no, it was Engelland….whiff….
    Never mind.

  9. Is Depres a healthy scratch?

  10. NEALER!!!!!!!!!

  11. Maatta Zatkoff double ugh….

  12. KC sucks so bad I’m just speechless

  13. San Diego wins in over time. Steelers will miss for the second year in a row.

    • Well deserved.

    • Succop was a choking dog.

      • Lead by the biggest choke Andy “cheesesteak” Reid. I hope Indy rolls them next week.

      • Cannot in any way, shape, or form blame Succop at all.
If the Steelers dont go 0-4, lay eggs in at least 3 other games, this would be a moot point.
The Steelers simply werent good enough or talented rough to make the playoffs.

Succop doesnt enter into the discussion.

        • Have to agree with you plan.

        • Talented rough?
          DAMN YOU JANDY DISEASE !!!

          Should be enough.

        • We can blame Suisham for his only 2 FG misses all year against Oak.

Sanders for showing everyone how not to make a play in Baltimore.

and for 1 inch against Miami to name a few, though that was more on the D than Brown stepping out of bounds. AB was great all year.

          • Nope, cant agree with any of those.

            0-4 start.
That Raider game was blown from the first play.
Why did they go to Sanders in the first place?
Brown tried to pull off a miracle.

Just not good enough, or talented enough, or prepared enough. Hopefully this is a lesson learned for Colbert, Tomlin, and the players for next year.

            • Yes true I agree I was just throwing a couple things out. The whole Oakland game was a total fiasco, same with Miami, and yes I totally agree why throw to Sanders and why was AB on the sideline for that play. Tenn if Redman doesn’t fumble, Cincy if Paulson doesn’t fumble who knows. Your right Plan just not good enough.

            • Ah, you do realize that they spent the enire offseason putting in a new blocking scheme, with 4 changes in the OLine – 3 yungens, along with the No Huddle offense and then have their allpro center ( the one thaat makes ALL of the line calls) go out for the season on the EIGHTH PLAY. The only worse injury they could have encountered was BBR.

Then, their #2 draft pick, who turned out pretty damn well missed preseason AND the first three games. All of their TE’s were out/hurt for the first month AND lost their defensive play caller (Foote) at the defensive postion of the least depth (ILB), having to turn to a 6th round rookie and a FA in that same first game.

Impact the first 4 games a little? Ya think?

There is a difference between excuses and reasons.

              THESE were reasons.

        • Succop does enter into this game. As far as it eliminating the Steelers, yes, it’s mostly self inflicted.

          • Bill, your original point was Succop was a choking dog.
Using that logic, every FG kicker is a choking dog, becasue kickers miss FG’s.
He didnt have a 20 yarder there.

Besides, both teams had equal opportunity in OT to win.

I just dont agree with the “blame the kicker” mentality.
I didnt blame Suisham for the OAK loss.

            • Sometimes these things are very simple. While everything you say is true, Ryan Succop is a choking dog.

              • Very true. Succop is a choking dog. It is his fault that the Steelers will not continue their season.

Oh wait…that’s probably not what you meant.

            • I understand what you’re saying, and my comment was one of frustration. Typically, an nfl kicker will make that kick 80 or more percent of the time. I would have liked to see the second half of the Steelers season rewarded. I didn’t feel this way last year.

It’s all good, Hippo. You have a good point.

  14. tied at 2. waiting for someone to just put this away.

  15. SID !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  16. Crosby, Neal and then everyone else.

  17. KUNITZ !!!!!!!!!!!

  18. If the Steelers had Crosby, they’d be in the playoffs for sure! :)

  19. Pens making me feel better – a little.

  20. KUMITZ!!!!!!!! SCIRE!!!!!!!!

  21. Hello everyone. Well the Steelers actually end up being in 2nd after today’s win and Ravens loss. Some consolation. We have our beloved Pens and then the Pirates will be heading to spring training in the not too distant future.

  22. NEAL !!!!!!!!!!!!

  23. Jimmie my boy has a hat trick. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  24. Hats off to Nealer!

  25. We certainly own CBJ,

  26. BOOOOO the bad guys.

  27. Looks like the old 1-3-1 prevails again.

  28. That’s the second dumb penalty Neal took today

  29. Did I speak to soon. Nikita Kruschev gets a goal. Or is that La Femme Nakita?

  30. Said it before on here and I’ll say it yet again. When the whole Crosby era is over, these are the games that will define what he was all about. What he has done in this period all over the ice sums up his greatness. How many times has he done that in the third period this year? Savor this stuff every night, folks. It goes by fast.

  31. The M*A*S*H* team does it again.

    Solid win, no more injuries.
Cant wait to see Geno back.

  32. 29 wins out of 41 games?

    All the injuries?

    And folks are complaining?

    Just sayin
