Just hoping for no more injuries.
    Maybe Geno comes back tonight?

  2. Jandy says:

Would be nice to see Geno. I don’t know how this team keeps going with all the injuries.

  3. Pucknutz says:

    LETS GO PENS !!!

No Geno, but Scuds is back!
Like to see Zats have a good one.

  4. Pucknutz says:

    Bylsma !!! lol

  5. theplanisworking says:

    Welcome Nun.

Like I said, no more injuries……..

  6. Jandy, your picture of Mischa sleeping at the restaurant the other night hooked up to your Facebook page. Hope you don’t mind, but I looked at all your pictures. Good looking bunch of people. Does your hubby have a beard?

  7. Jandy says:

I don’t mind at all Spunky and thanks so much for the kind words :)
Hubby used to have a beard, he does not at this time.
He has salt and pepper hair.

  8. Jandy says:

Great to see Scuds. I was really thinking geno would be playing tonight…

  9. Jandy says:

Hey Hipposter, how are you this evening??

  10. Sarah says:

Oy. Scuds and Zats not lookin good there.

  11. theplanisworking says:

    NEAL !!!!!!!

    Many Pens fans there.

  12. Is that him in the wedding picture with a beard? Good looking guy.

  13. defil21 says:

    RDN!

  14. Jandy says:

    NEALER!!!!

  15. defil21 says:

    We own Ohio.

  16. Pucknutz says:

Actually — pretty nice play by Dubinsky— undressed Scuds and Zats.

No problem – Neal erases that one !!!

  17. Sarah says:

Neal! Never mind the blatant goal interference! It was their G not our LOL!!

  18. theplanisworking says:

    ++++++

  19. Jandy says:

He had a goatee for our daughter’s wedding a few years ago…he looks good in one :)

  20. cherokee23 says:

Neal has alwas been a really good hockey player, but I think he is getting better & better. I worry about his temper and how he reacts to physical play, but his offensive skill just seems off the charts!

  21. Pucknutz says:

Methinks Mr Neal got a good talking to after the gratuitous knee to the head. Hey, Cookie turned the BS around – Neal should be able too also. Way too much talent there to be sitting out a suspension. We shall see…

  22. Sarah says:

Loons ….I am just listening on radio……HOPING Disco has Neal onCrosby’s RW…..but it sounds like Vitale?….,can someone fill me in?….

  23. Pucknutz says:

Well … Neal was there last shift….

  24. Sarah says:

Online now…fabulous play be Sid to pass to the right side of the goal for Neal!….errr….no, it was Engelland….whiff….
    Never mind.

  25. Sarah says:

    Is Depres a healthy scratch?

  26. Jandy says:

    NEALER!!!!!!!!!

  27. theplanisworking says:

    You rang? ;)

  28. Exceptionally fine-looking couple.

    No shriveled saint there!

    8-)

  29. Jandy says:

Hey i wondered where you were :P

  30. Jandy says:

You’re too kind, Revvie, bless you! :D

  31. Sarah says:

Oh good. Cos Engelland is so much better.

  32. Sarah says:

    Maatta Zatkoff double ugh….

  33. I just speak the truth. That’s my job (calling).

    :D

  34. Jandy says:

    :sigh:

  35. Sarah says:

KC sucks so bad I’m just speechless

  36. Dom says:

San Diego wins in over time. Steelers will miss for the second year in a row.

  37. Sarah says:

    Well deserved.

  38. Jandy says:

Aren’t you just a ray of sunshine today :)

  39. Wild Bill says:

    Succop was a choking dog.

  40. defil21 says:

Lead by the biggest choke Andy “cheesesteak” Reid. I hope Indy rolls them next week.

  41. theplanisworking says:

Cannot in any way, shape, or form blame Succop at all.
If the Steelers dont go 0-4, lay eggs in at least 3 other games, this would be a moot point.
The Steelers simply werent good enough or talented rough to make the playoffs.

Succop doesnt enter into the discussion.

  42. brandie says:

tied at 2. waiting for someone to just put this away.

  43. toochca says:

Have to agree with you plan.

  44. theplanisworking says:

    Talented rough?
    DAMN YOU JANDY DISEASE !!!

    Should be enough.

  45. defil21 says:

We can blame Suisham for his only 2 FG misses all year against Oak.

Sanders for showing everyone how not to make a play in Baltimore.

and for 1 inch against Miami to name a few, though that was more on the D than Brown stepping out of bounds. AB was great all year.

  46. brandie says:

Jandy Disease spreads like the creeping crud.

  47. theplanisworking says:

Nope, cant agree with any of those.

    0-4 start.
That Raider game was blown from the first play.
Why did they go to Sanders in the first place?
Brown tried to pull off a miracle.

Just not good enough, or talented enough, or prepared enough. Hopefully this is a lesson learned for Colbert, Tomlin, and the players for next year.

  48. theplanisworking says:

    Muppet !

    Sorry to hear about O’Brien.

  49. Wild Bill says:

Succop does enter into this game. As far as it eliminating the Steelers, yes, it’s mostly self inflicted.

  50. defil21 says:

Yes true I agree I was just throwing a couple things out. The whole Oakland game was a total fiasco, same with Miami, and yes I totally agree why throw to Sanders and why was AB on the sideline for that play. Tenn if Redman doesn’t fumble, Cincy if Paulson doesn’t fumble who knows. Your right Plan just not good enough.

  51. brandie says:

He has to make choices that benefit him and his family. If he goes, he will be missed but all of football at all levels is a business, which this year’s Steelers were mediocre at best. 500 is not going to do it. Depending on Andy Reid is never a good plan.

  52. Jandy says:

    Hopefully Nealer

  53. Jandy says:

    LOL!!! :P

  54. theplanisworking says:

Bill, your original point was Succop was a choking dog.
Using that logic, every FG kicker is a choking dog, becasue kickers miss FG’s.
He didnt have a 20 yarder there.

Besides, both teams had equal opportunity in OT to win.

I just dont agree with the “blame the kicker” mentality.
I didnt blame Suisham for the OAK loss.

  55. theplanisworking says:

    SID !!!!!!!!!!!!!

  56. defil21 says:

    or Sid works too.

  57. brandie says:

    CROSBY!!!!!!!!!

  58. Jandy says:

    sid!!!!!!!

  59. Milo Hamilton says:

Sometimes these things are very simple. While everything you say is true, Ryan Succop is a choking dog.

  60. tpbco says:

Ah, you do realize that they spent the enire offseason putting in a new blocking scheme, with 4 changes in the OLine – 3 yungens, along with the No Huddle offense and then have their allpro center ( the one thaat makes ALL of the line calls) go out for the season on the EIGHTH PLAY. The only worse injury they could have encountered was BBR.

Then, their #2 draft pick, who turned out pretty damn well missed preseason AND the first three games. All of their TE’s were out/hurt for the first month AND lost their defensive play caller (Foote) at the defensive postion of the least depth (ILB), having to turn to a 6th round rookie and a FA in that same first game.

Impact the first 4 games a little? Ya think?

There is a difference between excuses and reasons.

    THESE were reasons.

  61. Eric Bowser says:

Crosby, Neal and then everyone else.

  62. brandie says:

    Nice pictures. You hottie you!

  63. Jandy says:

    Nah just a crazy o l’ Grandma ;)

  64. Wild Bill says:

I understand what you’re saying, and my comment was one of frustration. Typically, an nfl kicker will make that kick 80 or more percent of the time. I would have liked to see the second half of the Steelers season rewarded. I didn’t feel this way last year.

It’s all good, Hippo. You have a good point.

  65. theplanisworking says:

    KUNITZ !!!!!!!!!!!

  66. Jandy says:

    ohyeah!!!!!

  67. brandie says:

If the Steelers had Crosby, they’d be in the playoffs for sure! :)

  68. Wild Bill says:

Pens making me feel better – a little.

  69. Jandy says:

    Kunie got a Goonie!

  70. brandie says:

    KUMITZ!!!!!!!! SCIRE!!!!!!!!

  71. theplanisworking says:

No, Haley would screw it up. ;)

  72. Jandy says:

That is a stinger, WIld One

  73. theplanisworking says:

    Its ok, Bill.

I am still salty to the way the season started.
    0-4 was a killer.

  74. brandie says:

Friendly amend….Maybe they needed The Legend Rob Scuderi!

  75. defil21 says:

    I cant even watch really.

  76. defil21 says:

Hopefully a building block for next year. Just like in 01 when they won 3 in a row to end the season.

  77. Jandy says:

    The Piece

  78. Barb says:

Hello everyone. Well the Steelers actually end up being in 2nd after today’s win and Ravens loss. Some consolation. We have our beloved Pens and then the Pirates will be heading to spring training in the not too distant future.

  79. theplanisworking says:

    NEAL !!!!!!!!!!!!

  80. Barb says:

Jimmie my boy has a hat trick. YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  81. Jandy says:

    Hats off to Nealer!

  82. brandie says:

    RDJN WITH ANOTHER!

  83. Jandy says:

    Howdy Bodacious!

  84. theplanisworking says:

    +++++++++++

  85. brandie says:

    JAMES NEAL AND BARB…BODACIOUS!

  86. Barb says:

    We certainly own CBJ,

  87. Barb says:

    Absolutely!!!! :)

  88. Barb says:

    BOOOOO the bad guys.

  89. Looks like the old 1-3-1 prevails again.

  90. brandie says:

Glad we’re not just renting them.

  91. brandie says:

    Steelers could have used that.

  92. Jandy says:

That’s the second dumb penalty Neal took today

  93. Did I speak to soon. Nikita Kruschev gets a goal. Or is that La Femme Nakita?

  94. Barb says:

They could have used a lot of things but it was not to be.

  95. theplanisworking says:

Glad they arent a condo, either.

  96. Barb says:

    +++++++ :)

  97. scapper says:

Said it before on here and I’ll say it yet again. When the whole Crosby era is over, these are the games that will define what he was all about. What he has done in this period all over the ice sums up his greatness. How many times has he done that in the third period this year? Savor this stuff every night, folks. It goes by fast.

  98. theplanisworking says:

I didnt watch any NBA games today. ;)

Your state should be back to normal today……… after the UK-LOU game yesterday.

  99. Wild Bill says:

    Well said.

  100. pattonbb says:

Very true. Succop is a choking dog. It is his fault that the Steelers will not continue their season.

Oh wait…that’s probably not what you meant.

  101. brandie says:

Ownership means tax credits and refund.

  102. theplanisworking says:

The M*A*S*H* team does it again.

    Solid win, no more injuries.
Cant wait to see Geno back.

  103. brandie says:

I watched 3rd and 4th grade girls today who played with more passion than the Bucks and Sixers!

  104. brandie says:

With Lucky In Kentucky as Father Mulcahy!

  105. Jandy says:

    what she said!

  106. Bizrow says:

29 wins out of 41 games?

    All the injuries?

    And folks are complaining?

    Just sayin

  107. theplanisworking says:

    Mercy.

  108. brandie says:

    No, that’s Merci!

  109. brandie says:

Just call us The Sports Curmudgeons!

  110. defil21 says:

But we still need a winger for Sid and Geno’s line :)

  111. Bizrow says:

    Can Sid play first base??

  112. scapper says:

First of all, that “first base” line is a beaut.

Secondly, wait until they lose three straight. We’ll be treated to an onslaught of comments about how Bylsma doesn’t know what he’s doing, Fleury is awful, [fill in the blank] needs to go, Shero has to start being held accountable, Lemieux wasn’t really that good….
