    LETS GO PENS !!

Didnt miss much in that 1st period.
    Need to crack the scireboard!

  2. Rbilak says:

    - Pens Jets trade rumors flying around concerning Kane, Ladd or Wheeler. https://twitter.com/garylawless/status/417992705415716864

    - Maatta untouchable but Wheeler always plays well vs Pens, he would be a great pick up.

    - not understanding Shero sending Harry Z down. Speed, grit, draws penalties, #12, Gibbons, Not as good, Adams, Sill, Conner not much better lately. Adams really been a big even strength negative. They can do better. Jussi has also played to why the Canes dealt him.

DK: I’ve had talks in recent days with people in Winnipeg, and this — including Gary’s fine column — is a case of 2 + 2 might equal 4. Gary sets it up exactly that way. And, as Gary writes, it really doesn’t appear there’s much of a match because the Jets would need top-six in return. The Penguins, of course, don’t have a forward to give.

    +

  4. theplanisworking says:

The Devils are just a pain in the rear team to the Pens.
    2-0 bad guys.

  5. Sarah says:

And we always make Uncle Fatty Brodeur look like he’s 25 again. Ugh.

  6. Sarah says:

There is much we don’t understand re Pens roster moves, safe to say ….

  7. theplanisworking says:

    Another person!
    Hi Sarah!
Hope you have a Happy New Year. :)

We need to beat “fatty” Brodeur.
    (Love it!)

  8. Sarah says:

And ou Hipster! And all our Loon Peeps!

  9. Sarah says:

    ER you TOO!

  10. Rbilak says:

Yes, the thing is they play a game that emulates playoff hockey, one that other teams will copy vs Pens. Good test today.

  11. theplanisworking says:

I only question the Pens ability to do anything due to being up against the cap.

  12. Sarah says:

They are triple teaming Crosby at times. That will be the pattern. Vs Malkin too.

  13. Jandy says:

Jeez! I didn’t even know we played this afternoon. Sucky afternoon time. ugh. And I turn it on to find us losing 2-1. C’mon Neal, scire!

  14. Jandy says:

Uncle Daddy seems to be on his game. Let’s hope one of our boys beats him soon.

  15. theplanisworking says:

Happy New Year, even if you are late to the party.

NJ always gives the Pens fits!

  16. Jandy says:

Yes, always have. That’s why i can’t stand ‘em lol

  17. Jandy says:

    Power Play…maybe we can score….Kunitz?

  18. theplanisworking says:

Grandpa Brodeur took his Geritol today.
Props to any 41-year old goalie in the NHL…….

  19. Jandy says:

Gotta agree, still don’t have to like him lol

  20. theplanisworking says:

    Meh. Stinks.

But 2013 was a fairly good year for the Pens.
Need to get healthy for 2014.

  21. Jandy says:

Amen! Here’s to a win to start 2014.

  22. Sarah says:

What a boring game. But it sure is the blueprint for how to beat us.
Fortunately they don’t call all that holding and obstruction in the playoffs.

    Oh, wait….

  23. At least the Pens are still leading their division at 29-12-1, and they won’t be playing New Jersey again unless the Devils make it to the playoffs, and the Pens finished at 3-1 against them this season. Meanwhile, the basketball Panthers beat Albany today 58-46 and Lamar Patterson scored 1000 points although Albany is indeed another soft non conference opponent. I wish you all a Happy New Year!

  24. DJ says:

Only player of the three I would trade for would be Kane, but I would first add Pouliot to untouchable. Wheeler and Ladd? Meh.

Beyond that, I would go for it.

DK: I’d rather have Wheeler OR Ladd than Kane.
