  1. FIRST IN!!!!!!

    LET’S GO PENS!!!!!!!

  2. It’s too cold to go to church. Cancelled my church choir practice because of it. God will understand, I hope.

  3. As much as I dislike Suban… somewhat of a goon and dirty player… the guys got a pretty good skill set.
The Saint ain’t gonna like this but…. if he was playin for the Pens… he would be a big fan favorite!

  4. Scire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Jussi!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. It’s quiet in here. Where’s the Hipposter?

  6. Hey hey Planimal so glad you joined us.

  7. Another penalty for Punk Subban

  8. Alrighty then a PP goal by our El Capitan.

  9. Penalty on Chicken Cubes

  10. Scire Geno and the rout is on! Price is chased :D

  11. Not happy about Neal and Kobasew getting hurt again. Otherwise, all good.

  12. Hey Plan, sounded like you had a high old time watching Pitt last night.

  13. Fleury seems to be focused well

  14. This reminds me of the caps game back in november.

  15. Ok that wasn’t what I meant

  16. Yeah, the goalies fighting would solve all the world’s problems……. lol

  17. So far so good

A sweet lady I worked with just pulled a signed Malkin jersey out of a bag on TV

She is such a sweet lady and such a fan, I gave her my Mike Lange bobblehead when I was cleaning out my office

Seeing her smile was pretty cool

  18. who was that suckerpunched brooksie?

  19. Had to love Iron Mike Fleury. “You wanna go? Okay, let’s go!” Then skates at 30% speed to the left instead of toward the goalie he was so ready to dance with. Hilarious. Man, I love that dude!

  20. Now that was Penguin ice hockey, as Bylsma would say it.

  21. The Penguins just won tonight 5-1 although late in the third quarter, the refs had to separate the Pittsburgh and Montreal goalies, so all is fine with the world again.

  22. Well I just woke up and missed all the banter. I am going to say good night since I have been looking at the inside of my eye lids for the past hour. Nite all.

  23. Pirates’ President Frank Coonelly proclaimed this afternoon that the Bucs will someday sign a $100 million dollar player, although he couldn’t tell us when, and, hopefully, this won’t turn out to be just a pleasant dream.

    • NostraFrankus??

Also, he forgot to mention that someday the sun will blow up, that might happen sooner

PS, they already signed a 100mm player, only cheaper, much cheaper, No 22

Frank, IMHO, should stay on wine and off the hard stuff

      Hi Frank

  24. DK-
Great article on Letang, but I disagree. I’m left with questions:
-Shero’s obviously foreseen this scenario, at least from a general perspective, since Letang has a limited clause rather than a no trade clause. What vibe do you, Rossi, or Yohe get from the organization on trading Letang for the pieces that would solve the offense depth issue?
-Despres is obviously the black sheep of the prospect pool nowadays, and it’s been reported that everyone has ‘soured’ on him. How would a Letang trade impact that? Could both of them be packaged, or would giving up Letang AND Despres be too harmful to the Pens’ pool of D prospects?
