  3. JohninOshkosh says:

    Add “Dreamland”, Biz.

    I’ll be asleep.

  4. theplanisworking says:

Rocco, the Police K-9, died today, as a result of a criminal stabbing him multiple times. I don’t know if the Lunatic Nation has a K-9 wing.

    RIP Rocco.

  5. scapper says:

Seriously. To hell with bigger nets. Howzabout they ban all 10:30 East Coast starts! Get on that, Gary.

Just my middle-aged grumpiness kicking in. I remember staying up until past 1 a.m. about ten years ago just to watch the no-hope Pirates squeak out a mid-week win against the D-back in April. Now? Sid could be going for his 52nd straight game with a point and I’d still have to bail by 11:00 and check out the results in the morning.

  6. scapper says:

We had to put a dear, longtime pet down two weeks ago tomorrow. This story is heartbreaking. I know I’m a warped human because animal deaths always affect me much more intensely than human deaths.

  7. Milo Hamilton says:

So sad. And it makes me so angry. RIP Rocco.

  8. Jamie K says:

    Australia – Sydney

  9. JohninOshkosh says:

    Watching this “SNL Sports Spectacular.”

Manning brothers are pretty funny. Forgotten what a great physical comedian Chris Farley was.

  10. Stuart says:

    Letang a scratch?

    Stuart

  11. JohninOshkosh says:

    Cool!

  12. Stuart says:

A lot of heavy hitting by both teams.

    Stuart

  13. Stuart says:

    Geno is crusin.

    Tuart

  14. theplanisworking says:

In the Morning thread, I referenced church mice, and loaves and fishes. I was expecting a bold reaming from you.

I won’t be seeing the final horn on this game.
The senseless K-9 death is making me turn in early.
I will leave it up to others to bring home the win.

  15. No BR from me. I don’t think many will see the end of this one, either.

  16. Stuart says:

DK’s fav (Anze) with a goal from the point on the PP.

    Stuart

  17. theplanisworking says:

2 quick goals by the Pens on the PP.
Glad I stayed up long enough to see it.

    GO PENS !!

  18. aaron says:

The Pens are like a top grade Thoroughbred race horse. A top notch horse will only run its best when it is running against another Thoroughbred. The pens look a bit sluggish against the lower tier teams, but put them up against another top tier team and watch them run!

Let’s go pens and what a game so far by Geno!

  19. Stuart says:

Wonder if Kings had a healthy scratch?

    Stuart

  20. Stuart says:

    3-1 Pens after One period.

    Stuart

  21. Wild Bill says:

    Keep those wheels rolling, boys!

  22. Stuart says:

If Jandy was awake, what would she make of Letang’s scratch?

    Stuart

  23. Wild Bill says:

Nervous about a trade, I’d bet, Stuart.

  24. Milo Hamilton says:

    He’s got the flu.

  25. DJ says:

Although a bevy of centermen, I kind of liked the Megna–Sutter–Gibbons 3rd line they rolled out earlier.

    Speed and pesky.

  26. Milo Hamilton says:

Maybe my greatest disappointment as a Penguins fan is that we never got to see Mario Lemieux play with Luc Robitaille. The numbers would have been astronomical.

  27. Bizrow says:

I was, then Ursy wanted out of bed :-)

  28. Bizrow says:

    Welcome Jamie

  29. Bizrow says:

    Mario w/o all the injuries

He played with Warren Young, imagine the numbers without the injuries/health problems ;-)

  30. Stuart says:

Wonder if Warren gave part of the $ from that big contract he signed to Mario. Hey Biz, what’s the game situation? I figured 4-1 was good so I went to bed with an iPad book.

    Stuart

  31. Jandy says:

    :(
This just breaks my heart :(

  32. Jandy says:

    I like warped humans.

  33. Jandy says:

YAY! We gotta fan down under :)
    Welcome to the asylum, Jamie!

  34. Jandy says:

I’d say he was sick or needed a break to keep his head straight. he’s only human. We sometimes forget that.
