Chat with Dejan Kovacevic
What was the reaction in Russia to AJ Burnett signing with the Phillies?
Have you had a chance to speak with AJ Burnett since he announced he was signing with the Phillies?
And do you know what his favorite Olympic sport is?
bahaha! The question goes in the chat window, silly
watch and see if he doesn’t say Womens’ Curling
I’m sure A.J. tried to call DK but DK was probably on the phone with his wife.
he prolly didn’t have service, the KGB won’t allow it!
As a lifelong hockey fan you have to enjoy this international competition and seeing a quarter century of hockey greats in action. In the 70’s the hockey crowds in Russia were very quiet. Are fans from both teams well-represented at the games?
I made a side bet down at Rivers Casino that US(men or women) would medal in curling this
I bet my house.
good bet or no?
I made it on the chat today. Thanks to DK for all of his fine reporting and answering my question about the best Olympic moment.
Did you get a prize?
Eternal Hippo Love.
And a chance to name your own town with a Brandie-sized typo…………………..
Dejan: really enjoying your posts and reporting from Russia! Thank you for representing the great people of Pittsburgh with such warmth and class. Be safe over there, and never let your guard down when you get outside of the security perimeter. GO USA! Go Sid! Go Geno – except against USA!!
To Brandie, Jandy, Sarah, Karen, and all of the “Babes of the Blog” , Happy Valentines Day (belated).
Yinzer in va,
The answer to your question about the translation of that word is this- Sochi. I live in St. Petersburg and although the language is a killer, I know that word!
Does anyone out there agree with me about the ref’s call late in the Syracuse game? It sure looked like an offensive charge to me.
