If we can get a league filled and folks choose to change the draft type to live or live auction, we can do it, trouble is scheduling a time where everyone can do it. Autodraft is you simply rank the players and when everyone has done that, the draft is held.

    Need this “W” ……………………………let’s go PITT !

  4. Bizrow says:

  5. Not a lot of blog focus on this one, I see. Wonder where JRay is.

  6. JohninOshkosh says:

Cameron Wright starting to mature and flesh out his game a bit. Will be a much improved player from November when March madness begins.

This is a much needed win.

  7. theplanisworking says:

    JRay, Lad9.
    Miss their perspective.

Now if you will excuse me, I have to go read up on the Tigers bullpen.

  8. JohninOshkosh says:

Colour commentator hit nail on the head. Almost impossible to defend the transition under new rules. Coaches will have to recruit speed and playmakers. Transition game is future in college BB.

  9. Arriba Wilver says:

If they lose this, you think the NCAA’s is in jeopardy? I kinda think so, but I’m no expert.

  10. JohninOshkosh says:

Yep. Bubble team in my opinion. Not many quality wins.

  11. Arriba Wilver says:

    Lad’s most likely there.

  12. Bizrow says:

    Whats the score?

  13. JohninOshkosh says:

Lunardi has them a seven seed in Spokane and not yet relegated to his bubble category.

  14. JohninOshkosh says:

    34-28 FSU Just about half.

  15. Arriba Wilver says:

37-31 at half. FS in lead.

  16. JohninOshkosh says:

37-31 Seminoles at intermission. Teams exchanged three pointers to close out half.

  17. Bizrow says:

    Crap, thanks

  18. Milo Hamilton says:

This is the pivotal 20 minutes of the season. If they can’t come back & win this one I think they go into the tank and miss the tournament.

  19. JohninOshkosh says:

  20. JohninOshkosh says:

    Oh, Zanna is playing.

  21. JohninOshkosh says:

Pitt playing like US Men’s hockey team.

  22. Arriba Wilver says:

  23. Milo Hamilton says:

I can’t be objective about this, maybe you can. Do they look like a team that’s tuned out their coach ?

  24. JohninOshkosh says:

Allison Williams on “Girls” or Allison Williams on ESPN ?

  25. Arriba Wilver says:

    Bylsma sending in plays?

  26. JohninOshkosh says:

No. I don’t think so. They just seem to have players that check out. When more than one does that at same time, they just go bad quickly. No reason to fall 10 behind this FSU team. Now they’ve tied it. Frustrating.

  27. JohninOshkosh says:

Announcers seem to have them pencilled in the brackets.

  28. Arriba Wilver says:

Hope they didn’t blow their best chance to go ahead.

  29. JohninOshkosh says:

Better take a TO, Coach. Something is breaking down, that’s for sure.

  30. Arriba Wilver says:

Didn’t realize that with all the recent action UVA (ahem) was #1 in ACC.

  31. Milo Hamilton says:

This is Groundhog Day. It’s the same game over and over again.

  32. JohninOshkosh says:

I’m missing the Tanya/Nancy documentary for this ?

  33. Milo Hamilton says:

    Free Throws

    FSU 14-15
    Pitt 16-26

  34. cosmo says:

too many times running the shot down to the wire and taking some bad shots

  35. 21sthebest says:

    No. Carl Krauser isn’t playing.

  36. theplanisworking says:

To answer Milo’s question above about “tuning out the coach”……

I think they are playing extremely afraid. When you play afraid, you make even more mistakes because you are thinking too much. Then, when the coach tries telling you what to do, you block it out, because you are afraid of messing up again.

Combine that with the fact this team has no creator/scorer, every mistake is magnified………… meaning more fear.

Or, they just tuned out the coach. Ala George Allen.

  37. Milo Hamilton says:

That week off came at a perfect time. It was a chance to regroup and sort of reboot the season against a bad Florida State team. To come out and play exactly like they did before the break is very disappointing. And very revealing.

  38. Bizrow says:

Home doesn’t mean much anymore, does it?

  39. chethejet1 says:

Whatever bloom Dixon had is now of the rose. Regression of this team is alarming. The problem is the two best talents are both seniors. While they may have some good commits 2015 and 2016, to much turnover, to much youth and to much Pitt not doing the little things very well now are indicative of a Dixon coached team late in the year.

  40. Milo Hamilton says:

Nancy has held up very well. I’ll stop there. :)

  41. Arriba Wilver says:

    Where’s that? The Lifetime channel?

  42. Arriba Wilver says:

Bad loss. And Patterson’s game stats are misleading.

  43. Stuart says:

Milo, that was a stinker, and you may be right about “tuning out the coach”. Jamie is so hyper, he seems to be perpetually shouting through crises during TOs. Now if Disco could just capture some of that urgency from Jamie in exchange for some of his in game cool (ala Boheim) they might both be better coaches.

For most of the game, no Pitt player seemed to want the ball. Patterson scored Pitt’s last 16 points, but played poorly. Wright and Robinson both had a lot of “reach-in” variety fouls. Starting to look “bubblecious”.

  44. Stuart says:

Biz, that is what is so hard to believe. Not long ago they looked invincible at the ‘Pete’.

  45. Bizrow says:

    Yup, exactly

  46. I’m glad I didn’t get to see Pitt lose this one since I was busy watching the Daytona 500 auto race down here in Florida on Fox, finally won by Dale Earnhardt, Jr. after that 6 hour rain delay, the longest in NASCAR’s history. I should’ve known that Florida State, now 16-11, would beat the punchless Panthers.

  47. Bizrow says:

    I’ll stick with Jamie
