Does having your own radio show make it harder to turn away from a massive pay cut?

  3. Pucknutz says:

Lets get Ovie to minus 30. :)

  4. Brandie says:

    Rating or -30 degrees?

  5. theplanisworking says:

    Hockey IQ, Brandrishnakov.

  6. Brandie says:

Hot Dang!!!! Plancakes and Sausage. How the heck are yinz?

  7. theplanisworking says:

    Good, good.
Looking ferwerd to the game tonight.

Only thing better than beating the Caps, is beating them 2 nights in a row.

And, the late8 will be tuckin’ that tail between those legs again.

  8. BillyBaduka says:

    Let’s go Pens!

  9. Hippster, what up!

  10. Comrade Bizrovsky, why is mother russia not on da list?

  11. Brandie says:

I have an interview tomorrow. Looking “ferwerd” as well. :)

Good to know Irwin is treating you well my Hip Hop Hippo.

  12. Brandie says:

    Ehat are your predictions Vladimonster?

  13. theplanisworking says:

    Absolutely nothing, comrade.
Tonight, you drinka dee vodka, no?

Just getting a lay of the land out here, and the land does not lay. Very hilly. I admire the job Norwin schools does getting the kids to school, with all the hills here.

  14. theplanisworking says:

Good luck on the interview from your Hip Hop Hippo. :)

  15. Predictions you say…hmmm…i predict dejan is counting the seconds to his next cup o joe. My-lough will say something short, to the point and rather witty. Jandisova is taking her dog out before the game so she doesn’t scare the poop out of it…what is her dogs name anyway?

And that be all i got for now…but i’ll keep you posted :)

  16. Brandie says:

Should be What and not Ehat.

  17. Eric Bowser says:

Stan Savran just said the lines are

    Kunitz – Crosby – Stempniak
    Jokinen – Malkin – Neal
    Pyatt – Sutter – Gibbons
    Glass – Goc – Adams

    Orpik – Maatta
    Scuderi – Niskanen
    Despres – Bortuzzo

    Starter: Fleury
    Backup: Bortuzzo

    Scratches: Vitale, Engelland

  18. Brandie says:

Billy Badazz ….I concur. Hope to see Lee Stempniak with El Sid tonight.

  19. …and i predict you’ll knock em dead tomorrow :)

  20. Brandie says:

Thank you both Vladiminster and Plansky from your Muppet of Zen!

  21. Brandie says:

    What happened to Vitale?

  22. aaron says:

Vitale didn’t make the cut. Goc still on the fourth line.

  23. theplanisworking says:

Under strange places, Biz normally posts “a cold day in hell place”.
So, Siberia IS on the list. ;)

  24. Pucknutz says:

Ya, Disco told Potash he was gonna stick w/it. Looked good last night, why not?

  25. theplanisworking says:

    Engelland isn’t on the wing?
    WOW !

And who says Disco doesn’t make adjustments. ;)

  26. Eric Bowser says:

He didn’t have a few good shifts and I’m guessing the Pens want to get a little more action offensively out of Gibbons compared to Vitale.

  27. aaron says:

Pyatt better do something soon, I think he is playing on borrowed time. The most invisible 6’3” 230lb guy ever.

  28. Eric Bowser says:

Not sure any GM thinks after trading a 3rd and 5th round pick that the acquired player would be on the 4th line with Tanner Glass and Craig Adams.

  29. Eric Bowser says:

I don’t care for the big hits, that’s just window dressing. What do I want to see from Pyatt is competing for loose pucks and coming out of the mix with it.

  30. Eric Bowser says:

Some year, Adams will be a healthy scratch.

    Just once.

  31. theplanisworking says:

    I have a question:

How do you pronounce Goc’s name?

Is it said like : Gosh?
Is it said like : Gotch?
Is it said like : Gock?

I have heard it said all 3 ways.

  32. theplanisworking says:

    ZING !

  33. aaron says:

I thought he would be playing third line with Sutter and have Vitale center the fourth.

  34. Eric Bowser says:

This is hockey. Up and down action.

  35. Milo Hamilton says:

    Thought that was Burt Campbell.

  36. aaron says:

I would like to see that big body creating a presence in front of the net…..some second chance goals. I don’t care much for hits, but hard goals in the high traffic areas I do care about.

  37. Milo Hamilton says:

    It’s #2. I say it like #3 because I know it’s wrong & I like to confuse people. :)

  38. Eric Bowser says:

    Booooooooo Halak.

Figures Pyatt would be the guy…

  39. Pucknutz says:

  40. theplanisworking says:

    How is Bradenton?

    Cooonelly following you around?

  41. Milo Hamilton says:

    13:45 without a whistle.

  42. Milo Hamilton says:

Great. Saw him yesterday. He was lurking around the boardwalk with the lovely Mrs. Coonelly.

    Hi Frank.

  43. Barb says:

Good evening all. Brandie good luck tomorrow sending good thoughts your way.

  44. theplanisworking says:

    Gold, Milo, just Gold.

  45. Eric Bowser says:

Capitals… let’s rename them the turnovers… holy bad puck management batman!

    1-0 Pens

  46. Andrew says:

    Orlov got his pocket pick.

  47. theplanisworking says:

But Lange is sending him back to Arkansas…….

  48. Andrew says:

  49. Pucknutz says:

    I believe #8 was on the ice….. minus 1… wooo-hooo!
Yinz guys with the fancy DVR confirm that for me if you will be so kind. :)

  50. JohninOshkosh says:

    Tip your waitress well, Milo!

  51. Barb says:

    On his way to -35!

  52. Eric Bowser says:

    Hockey card save by Fleury!

  53. theplanisworking says:

    Good evening, one.
Hope you are enjoying the game.

  54. Barb says:

Good first period for the ‘guins. Let’s keep it up.

  55. Brandie says:

BODACIOUS! Apresence as lovely as yours deserves a capital greeting. Thank you for the vibes.

  56. Milo Hamilton says:

With that in mind, had a frosty adult beverage at a Green Bay Packers bar after dinner. The Bridge Tender Inn.

  57. Goc is a machine on the boards.

  58. Pucknutz says:

    LOL… HockeyCard Save.. love it.
Twist that one up muppet. :)

  59. Eric Bowser says:

Real solid first period by Pens.

If I’m Adam Oates…. I go mad on my team.

  60. Eric Bowser says:

He’s tenacious with the stick battles…. love the quick stick.

  61. theplanisworking says:

    Isn’t Oates always mad?
What is he to do, cheap shot his guys in the locker room?
Wait, I flashed back to his playing career………………………….

  62. Good feet too. Eats the puck on the wall and buys time for linemates to get open. He should be in top 9 soon enough. But 4th line is good with him too.

  63. You’re thinking of dale effin hunter!!!

  64. Brandie says:

Ladies and gentleman…that was your Hockey Moment of Zen…Brought to you by Bowser Blast!

  65. Oh you said locker room…i read ‘cheap shot’ and thought hunter. Oopsie…

  66. Brandie says:

Is that what his Mama exclaimed when he oozed forth into the world?

  67. Mye-Lough, i love it when i need to google what your post mean…

  68. Barb says:

Thanks Brandyskaya. Love the new names for y’all.

  69. theplanisworking says:

To the gulag with you !

  70. holy belly laugh brandiskaya…holy belly laugh indeed

  71. JohninOshkosh says:

    Those people are everywhere.

Sounds like you’re having a good time. My family will be at Sandals in Jamaica in 38 days. First time my kids will be on a plane. First time my kids will have seen the ocean.

I’m sure I’ll run into Packers fans there.

  72. Jandy says:

  73. Jandy says:

  74. Jandy says:

    I’ll drink to all three!

  75. Jandy says:

  76. Jandy says:

and the long reach to pick the puck!

  77. Jandy says:

  78. theplanisworking says:

  79. Wild Bill says:

Hey Yinz! My spur’s in the ice.

  80. Jandy says:

    hey hey Wild One!

  81. Jandy says:

:D How goes it Oh Purple One???

  82. Wild Bill says:

Video replay indicated to me we got a juicy one from Jussi in the first.

  83. Milo Hamilton says:

It should be more than 1-0.

  84. Jandy says:

Your replay would be spot on

  85. Wild Bill says:

Milo! Nice reporting from grapefruit country today.

  86. Jandy says:

    hell yeah…at least 5 or 6 to 0

  87. So in case you’re wondering that’s what datsyuk looked liked in his prime.

  88. theplanisworking says:

    Enjoying the game so far.

Late 8 is stinking again vs the pens…………. life is good.

  89. Brandie says:

Untamed William has come to partay!

  90. Andrew says:

What a shift there by Stempniak.

  91. Jandy says:

indeed! Glad you’re doing well :)

  92. Wild Bill says:

    Sweet stuff, indeed.

  93. Jandy says:

Agreed. The more I see, the more I like.

  94. Wild Bill says:

  95. Brandie says:

Almost tempted me to go rogue Pucknutz.

  96. aaron says:

Stempy! Two beautiful misses…..he keeps bangin the post like that Neal will have to double his efforts to keep leading the universe in most shots to hit post/crossbar.

  97. Wild Bill says:

Milo was right. The longer it stays a one goal game, it makes me nervous.

  98. JD says:

    +++ to drinking!

I convinced a bar in Thomasville, AL to put hockey on. They even have Yuengling down here

  99. aaron says:

Stempy is looking like a most excellent addition so far!

  100. Jandy says:

I have to say, I’m happy to see Borts out there.

  101. Brandie says:

    His name is Stemp!

    He don’t play like Shemp!

    And he ain’t no TemI’m a rapper y’all.

  102. aaron says:

One of those games where one goal by the opposing team could deflate the whole place. What a save by MAF!

  103. Wild Bill says:

    Flower in full bloom again.

  104. Pucknutz says:

HockeyCard Save & the Scorpion! Flower Power!

  105. Jandy says:

aaron, you need an avatar my friend :)

  106. theplanisworking says:

The Caps, and bait8 always find a way to lose against the Pens.
    Have faith.

  108. Brandie says:

    He ain’t no Temp.

    I’m Rapper!

  109. JohninOshkosh says:

    Hockey in Alabama!

    Love it.

  110. Brandie says:

  111. Wild Bill says:

From Plan’s lips to our ears.

  112. Brandie says:

That is what she said next.

  113. Jandy says:

Thanks, Planimal, had to steal it ;)

  114. Brandie says:

It seems like Shero got the deal if the century when he went for Tic and Stempnial. Making the decision look quite sound so far.

  115. Brandie says:

    Goc and Stempniak too.

  116. theplanisworking says:

Wonder where you got that avatar from?? ;)

  117. chethejet1 says:

Neal is just killing this team and he needs to quit shooting crap shots and play with far more intensity. His puck skills are not good enough and his hitting has not been there

  118. Pucknutz says:

    Me three!

  119. Jandy says:

    Tic and Tac? lol

  143. Pucknutz says:

Ya – back to backers are lotta fun – intense it seems.

  144. DJ says:

  152. Brandie says:

  161. Brandie says:

Time to circle the wagons. Thoughts and prayers to Kunitz. Not envying Bylsma trying to figure out who is going to step up next.

  162. theplanisworking says:

Help me out here guys……….. what comes next?

  163. JohninOshkosh says:

    Will do.

  164. Brandie says:

Green is a meanie? Dirty player? Just what to expect from a Garage League…Unfortunately for Kunitz. :(

  165. defil21 says:

    A Penguins win!

  166. Jandy says:

  167. theplanisworking says:

  168. Brandie says:

    Dayum Straight!

  169. DJ says:

This is looking like Halak circa 2010.

If Cammalleri shows up on the right dot, I’ll know I’m dreaming.

  170. defil21 says:

He’s a hockey player he’s fine. Heck if Morrow can play in the playoffs with a cracked knee cap I think Kunitz could play on a broken leg. He’s one tough mother pucker.

  171. defil21 says:

    Boom goes the dynamite!

  172. Jandy says:

    Heck yeah!!!!! SID!!!!!!!!

  173. Wild Bill says:

Did I mention that my big black cat is named Sidney?

  174. Barb says:

    SID SCIRES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  175. theplanisworking says:

    Send Halak back!

Told ya the caps would find a way to lose!

  176. Jandy says:

    No Camels until tomorrow ;)

  177. Andrew says:

Long time coming with those D-Man getting aggressive and pinching down.

  178. Jandy says:

    woop woop!

  179. defil21 says:

Piss on Halak he’ll be selling meat out of the back of Ovie’s car in a couple of months while the Pens are in the playoffs.

  180. Jandy says:

  181. defil21 says:

    +++++++++ choking dogs.

  182. DJ says:

Hope all the Caps fans are watching these two games.

Would be interested in hearing their views on Sid v. Ovie.

  183. Pucknutz says:

Stempy lookin pretty good w/Sid ….. maybe…. just maybe .. have found the winger

  184. Milo Hamilton says:

    What a lousy call.

  185. Andrew says:

That is a post-lockout call (2 lockouts ago.)

  186. Barb says:

    You got that right My-low!

  187. theplanisworking says:

Hence why I gave them a small “c”.

  188. Jandy says:

Man, Brooksie is on a mission!

  189. Jandy says:

I’m gonna have to switch my avatar back! >:<

  190. Wild Bill says:

    Depres got hosed.

  191. DJ says:

Best all around game by Pens all season.

A portent of things to come?

  192. Brandie says:

Touchdown Tony D with your silver lining.

  193. DJ says:

    Brooks has looked good tonight.

Much better when not glued to the ice.

  194. defil21 says:

They don’t watch the games. Seriously I work with a “die hard” Caps fan and he didn’t watch the game because he was too busy last night. When they are winning the fans watch, when they start to lose there fans don’t watch or show up. Apparently after last nights game a “Lets GO PENS, We want the Cup” chant broke out as 100’s of Pens fans were leaving the Verizon center last night. My buddy sent me a video he took and said it was like being at the CEC.

  195. Milo Hamilton says:

    I’m smelling Flower’s 1st goal.

  196. defil21 says:

Point to you. I did notice that after you mentioned it Sir! The pond is strong with this one.

  197. Brandie says:

From your fingers to Disco’s line up card. :)

  198. Milo Hamilton says:

He played very well last night also.

  199. Pucknutz says:

Ya DJ.. looks like they are gettin serious.

  200. defil21 says:

Wow how’d you know my first name was Anthony? Are you stalking me? Because that would be super.

  201. Milo Hamilton says:

    Or maybe just another shutout.

  202. defil21 says:

  203. Wild Bill says:

Best Flower in the conservatory tonight!

  204. Barb says:

Alright MAF another shut out. Great game.

  205. Jandy says:

    The Jolly Hippo even!

  206. theplanisworking says:

Well, the guess it will be a wait8 yet again for the caps.
Ovie is one of the more overrated players I have ever seen.

One-trick pony, lack of effort, lack of any leadership.
To think the caps built around this guy?
    OOPS !!

  207. Jandy says:

Liked the look, the determination of this team tonight. It’s not just because we won. They just PLAYED WELL. Hope it continues!

  208. theplanisworking says:

    That’s a lot of lifting……….. just saying……..

  209. theplanisworking says:

Aren’t the Pens 3-0 since the trade deadline?

  210. Brandie says:

Defend the Consol Dome. (I know it’s not really a dome. It just sounds more intimidating than its actual name.)

  211. defil21 says:

    We lost to SJ remember?

  212. DJ says:

I said this right after the trade deadline, PN, but a less stacked roster could translate to greater focus.

No one is thinking it will be a cakewalk to SC Finals and everyone is on their details.

    Underpromise and overdeliver.

  213. Wild Bill says:

Next is a home and home with the team I love to hate.

  214. Brandie says:

I think it is fitting that the Capitals are, indeed, a reflection Washington of government as Plan has so eloquently described them.

  215. Eric Bowser says:

    Fleury was outstanding

    Solid team win.

That penalty late on Despres was baloney. Ward initiated contact, that’s not interference.

    MVP… Sidney Crosby.

  216. Brandie says:

    Heave the hefty bison!

  217. defil21 says:

God I hate the Cryers. The only good thing to come out of Philly was Rocky Balboa.

  218. theplanisworking says:

Oh, I thought that was before?

Nevermind, I am confused as usual.

  219. Pucknutz says:

LOL – never really though about it that way but.. spot on Muppet!

  220. Sidney scored his 31st goal! And the Pens won their 8th straight over the Capitols! And M. A. Fleury scored his 5th shutout this season! And all is right with the world tonight!

  221. DJ says:

We’re at Philly Saturday and back home with Philly on Sunday. Gotta love it.

So we get to see the best hockey player in the world back-to-back, right?

  222. Pucknutz says:

D21 – that was a fictional movie – Rocky just as well coulda come out the burgh if they had the right tax and shoot it here stuff. So … not much good outta there. LOL :)

  223. scapper says:

I live in Caps country…ahhhhhhhhh… nice.

  224. Brandie says:

    I have my ways.

  225. cosmo says:

I have a white one named Crosby
