Give Cherpak credit — the elements don’t bother him. It’s a cold night and Cherpak’s counterpart on the other sideline, Chris Saluga, has a thick tossle cap on his head. But Cherpak is wearing his trademark shorts. Not surprising. He wears shorts in late November when his teams are playing for WPIAL championships.
It may be cold, but Cherpak won’t let his players use that as an excuse. Not when he’s dressed like he’s headed to the beach.
