At halftime, we’re tied 20-20.
Chartiers Valley sophomore Wayne Capers started in place of injured teammate Matt Noszka, the team’s second leading scorer, who hurt his knee in the semifinals. Capers, who missed all but the past three games with his own injury, has seven points.
Hampton’s Bill Luther has nine points, and Chartiers Valley’s T.J. McConnell has eight.
And Palumbo Center is packed.
