    What a year it has been for South Fayette. The Lions’ football team has won its first WPIAL football title since 1964, defeating Aliquippa, 19-6, in the Class AA championship game at Heinz Field. Also, within the past 12 months, South Fayette won state titles in basketball and wrestling. – Chris Harlan (charlan@tribweb.com)
