ROOT Sports play-by-play man Rob King announced today on the Kevin Gorman High School Football Show on TribLIVE Radio that it will do a live telecast from the Quad South conference game between McKeesport and Penn-Trafford at Warrior Stadium at 7:30 p.m. next Friday as its McDonald’s High School Football game of the week.
The McKeesport-Penn-Trafford game will be the fourth game televised live this season on ROOT Sports, which aired the Thomas Jefferson-Woodland Hills game the opening weekend, Central Valley at New Castle last weekend and will feature Belle Vernon at Chartiers Valley at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
The top games in Western Pennsylvania will be previewed every week on the High School Edition presented by Trib Total Media, which airs Thursdays and Fridays on ROOT Sports.
