Jesse Reed and P.J. McLaughlin helped the Greensburg Central Catholic boys basketball team reach the PIAA and WPIAL Class AA title games last year.
Reed, who averaged 19.5 points per game and is now attending Kiski School, announced Sunday that he has made an oral commitment to attend American University, while McLaughlin, a 6-foot-6 senior for the Centurions, early announced that he will play at Division II Seton Hill University.
Reed had interest from Robert Morris and St. Francis (Pa.) during his senior season, but opted to attend Kiski School.
McLaughlin averaged 12.5 points and eight rebounds for the Centurions.
