Erie McDowell’s Greg Garmon has chosen Iowa. The highly recruited tailback verbally committed to the Hawkeyes during Tuesday’s nationally televised Semper Fidelis all-star game in Phoenix. The 6-foot-2, 200-pound senior becomes the 25th member of the WPIAL’s 2012 class committed to a D1 FBS college. Letters of intent can be signed Feb. 1.
