The scoreboard operator at Geneva College’s Metheny Fieldhouse was kept busy during the Roundball Classic’s Class A/AA boys all-star game as the Class A team rolled to a 141-94 victory.
It was one of four all-star games, two girls and two boys contests, at Geneva.
John Arcuri of St. Joseph and Matt Dogan of West Middlesex led six players in double figures by scoring 18 apiece for Class A.
Arcuri, who also won the 3-point shooting contest at halftime over Tim Jaczesko of Deer Lakes, is headed for Westminster College while Dogan will be attending Gannon.
Bishop Canevin’s Jake Seligman, who is undecided about a college, led Class AA with 15 points.
Doug Biega, who coached Beaver Falls to both the WPIAL and PIAA championships this past season, joked after the game that his teams usually needed three games to give up 141 points.

Class AAAA vs. AAA boys
The game ended with a minute left when Seneca Valley’s Easton Buzzoli shattered the banking board when he attempted a dunk off a feed from Pine-Richland’s Tim Williams.
David Usro of Central Catholic was the MVP with 19 points. Aaron Barlow of Beaver led the Class AAA team with 19.

Class AAAA vs. AAA girls
Trib Total Media and two-time PA Sportswriters Player of the Year Shatori Walker-Kimbrough of Hopewell scored 14 points to lead the Class AAA all-stars to a 57-51 victory. Franklin Regional’s Maggie Kimmich, a St. Vincent College recruit, had 10 for the Class AAAA team.

East vs. West girls
East MVP and Duquesne recruit Erin Waskowiak scored 17 points to lead the East All-stars to the victory. Jeannette’s Ciara Gregory, who will play her college ball at Charlotte, was the West MVP with 14 points.
