I still New Castle believe would have beat highlands if he had help from another player but the game would have been closer than it was. Hopefully New Castle can get more pub from u guys than they get since they are #1 in AAA & 2 in the State

Saw Mason play tuesday night against new castle & he might have been the best shooter in high school in a awhile. I’m from new castle & i believe we would have been in trouble if they had a guy to compliment him. Sucks for him thay he was there only guy & teams could just play the junk D on him. He would have been even better if he had other guy that the opposing team would have had someone else to worry about.

Great hire by Pitt. I am MTL class of ’97 and played under Coach Haering – he came in the winter of my sophomore year. By far the best coach I’ve ever played under and also a very solid person with great character.

Coach Haering will obviously be the direct connection for local recruiting NOW and in the future. Now that the Rose Bowl is over, let’s see what kind of staff Coach Chryst has or will put together and what happens with Pitt’s recruiting class.

KG…it takes a great man to know one. JT was right about George Novak and you’re right because you see the goodness in this story. This was a great thing and thanks for reporting it. KG, you’re a good man and no one knows Pittsburgh sports like you. The feelin, the emotion and the real story.
