Bostick returns to Pitt camp

August 14th, 2007

After missing the first seven days of practice, highly touted freshman quarterback Pat Bostick returned to Pitt’s football training camp today.

Bostick arrived at Pitt’s Duratz Athletic Complex on the South Side at about 12:30 p.m.

The two-time all-state selection from Manheim Township High School left camp Aug. 6 and returned home to Lancaster to deal with “personal issues.”

Bostick missed nine practices, including four in full pads. The Panthers will scrimmage for the first time today, but Bostick is not expected to participate.

Pitt coach Dave Wannstedt was not available for comment.
