DeJuan Blair recorded his fourth double-double of the season, with 20 points and 10 rebounds to lead No. 11 Pitt to a 85-68 victory over Oklahoma State this afternoon at Petersen Events Center.
The Panthers (10-0) also got double-digit scoring from Levance Fields (17 points) and Sam Young and Mike Cook, who had 15 points apiece.
Oklahoma State (5-4) lost its 14th consecutive road game, dating to February 2006. The Cowboys were led by Marcus Dove’s 17 points.
Pitt held Oklahoma State’s leading scorer, freshman James Anderson, to eight points on 2 of 8 shooting from the field. Anderson was averaging 20.8 per game.
