Pitt received a No. 6 seed and will play No. 11 Wyoming (24-6) Saturday in the first round of the NCAA women’s basketball tournament in Albuquerque, N.M.

The Panthers (22-10) will make their second consecutive NCAA tourney appearance after posting their third consecutive 20-win season.
The Pitt-Wyoming (24-6) winner will play either No. 3 Baylor (24-6) or No. 14 Fresno State (22-10) in the second round of the West regional in Spokane, Wash.
West Virginia (24-7) also landed in the West. The Mountaineers earned a No. 5 seed and will play New Mexico (20-12) in Albuquerque.
Robert Morris received a No. 15 seed and will play No. 2 Rutgers in Des Moines.
