Spezza sighting

Senators star center Jason Spezza finally scored his first goal of the playoffs on a 5-on-3 power-play to cut it to 6-4 at 7:37 of the third period, but Ottawa failed to take advantage in the additional 1:28 that Matt Cooke was in the penalty box.

The Penguins killed the remainder of that penalty, thanks to a diving block by Craig Adams and Cooke racing back onto the ice to strip Daniel Alfredsson from behind.

Jordan Staal gave the Penguins a 7-4 lead with his first playoff tally.
