After an overtime that saw three power-play opportunities and a disallowed goal, the Penguins and Senators are headed to a second overtime.
The Penguins twice killed penalties, one by Brooks Orpik (delay of game at 10:52) and the other by Kris Letang (holding, 15:40), the former thanks to Jay McKee diving on a loose puck and the latter thanks to a diving stop by Matt Cooke on a Nick Foligno shot.
Ottawa had one penalty kill, after Jason Spezza was called for cross-checking McKee in front of the Senators’ net.
The closest call came when Foligno scored the apparent game-winner, but it was immediately disallowed because the puck went off Foligno’s skate and upheld after a video review.
Penguins goalie Marc-Andre Fleury stopped 11 shots in the extra period and has 31 saves, while Ottawa’s Pascal Leclaire stopped six and has 45 saves.
