Maurkice Pouncey could barely walk on Monday.

Thursday, the All-Pro center is taking snaps during team drills.

Pouncey went through his first workout since spraining his medical collateral ligament a week ago, and said afterwards that he very well could play Sunday in Cincinnati.

“I went out there and did a couple reps in practice and it feels pretty good so far,” Pouncey said. “Hopefully I will wake up in the morning and it feels great.”

Pouncey said the extra treatment (icing throughout the night) and the tape job coupled with the DonJoy prophylactic knee brace.

“If I feel good (Friday) then I definitely will play. If not, I am going to have to rest it,” Pouncey said.

Pouncey said that don’t interpret him being able to practice with being pain-free.

When asked if he should be cautious with the injury, Pouncey quipped: “It is divisional a game, we don’t have any time to take anything easy. We have to start getting wins.”
