True to her namesake, former first daughter Barbara Bush speaks her mind on politics.
President George W. Bush’s offspring tells People magazine that Hillary Clinton is “unbelievably accomplished” and should run for the White House in 2016.
The 31-year-old seems to be coy about politics. She’s not affiliated with either party and doesn’t say whether she’d vote for the Democrat.
“I don’t know who she’d be running against,” the former first daughter says.
Uncle Jeb, of course, might throw his hat into the ring. Her grandmother, Barbara Bush, the wife of President George H.W. Bush, made news in April when she was asked on NBC’s Today Show whether the former governor of Florida, her son, should run in 2016. Her response: He’s the “best qualified” but “we’ve had enough Bushes.”
