lennonA Canadian dentist wants to clone John Lennon.

Imagine!

Michael Zuk bought the onetime Beatle’s decaying molar at auction a couple of years ago. It cost him more than $30,000, and now it looks like he wants to get his money’s worth.

Zuk proudly touts his notoriety — he’s been made fun of by both Bill O’Reilly and Anderson Cooper — on his johnlennontooth.com website. He even sent out a press release when he sent the tooth to a lab.

“I am nervous and excited at the possibility that we will be able to fully sequence John Lennon’s DNA, very soon I hope,” Zuk announced. “With researchers working on ways to clone mammoths, the same technology certainly could make human cloning a reality.”

All he is saying is give teeth a chance.
