His hind legs gone, puppy keeps on going

How does he walk? It isn’t easy.

A three-month old boxer is inspiring thousands on Facebook with his remarkable recovery. Duncan Lou Who (his name, not a grammatical error) had his severely deformed back legs amputated at the hip sockets on Tuesday, and to add insult to injury he was fixed at the same time.

But by the next day,  photos of Duncan walking without any apparent difficulty were posted by Amanda Giese of Panda Paws Rescue in Vancouver, Wash., KVUE.com reports.

“He was elevating and carrying his bad back legs around,” Giese explains on Facebook. “So now, this is 100000x’s easier without the weight. It is LESS strain on his body & healthier for him in the long run,” she writes.

Even though he can get around with only two legs, the boxer will be fitted for a “wheelchair.”

If you’d like to adopt Duncan, you’re too late. Giese and her family have already fallen for him, “the definition of perseverance,” she tells Today.com.
